You are very right, he is very used to his company telling him no and although he knows what he wants in musical terms, he judges himself very harshly. Some of the songs he didn’t release are very good. I feel sad when he rejects them. Hopefully when he returns in 2025 he will publish an album with his own songs. For the moment we can wait to see in January his collaboration with an American singer name Umi , Taehyung gave us a little spoiler and the song seems very beautiful. Thanks Justin for your sweet words to Taehyung’s voice and happy Christmas. 💜 Greetings from Spain.💜

Snow flower is an amazing song that continues to grow on you each time you listen to it. It is so interesting musically, and so different from a other music being created these days. I like listening to Snow Flower even when it is not Christmas season.
This is one of my favorites. There was a video of them in his home studio recording this and they did play around like you said. Peakboy said that V was really impressive as the producer as well.

Working with a different team on Layover was a smart decision. They worked so well together to best let his beautiful vocals shine through to their full potential, he's making the type of music he loves, and able to convey the story he wanted through these songs.
All I want for Christmas is a live Layover album version to be released.
I hope he continues finding support for his music and that more people discover his work.
Thank you for saying this, what people don't understand is not everyone like mainstream songs. Out of all BTS new solo works Layover and indigo are my favorite because they are not really mainstream, only person who understands good music will appreciate both. V's voice is not something you just find anyhow in the music industry is why he is Unique. I really wish he will not be hard on himself and just release his halfway songs, even if its on SoundCloud. If you listen to his song "Travel with me" he never release the full song.
I hope in 2025 he becomes more sure about his music and I want an album with his own songs. All the songs that he didn’t release are absolutely amazing. Taehyung needs to surround himself with people who believe in him and encourage him with his own songs. 💜

I become a fan of BTS since 2014 because of V's voice, cheerfulness & different appearance even he only get 1 line in many BTS songs. As he grown up, he pointed out his style & uniqueness in voice, music, fashion and more different from other members. Sometimes his idea/thought is simple thing not fancy at all but have huge attention.
when I first became an army and listened to Taehyung's solo songs, I just couldn't fight the urge to close my eyes and let his voice touch me , like I literally felt like I was in love with him just by hearing his solo music !! lol and I literally cried listening to winter bear even before I knew what it was about, his voice makes people feel things fr

Thank You for expressing exactly OUR feelings towards V. Coming from you which you yourself have an amazing voice and is very talented and recognizes True Talent validates what we been feeling.
It is sad and disappointing to know he has so many songs unrelease and we only get to listen to them when he wants to share. I do think part of the issue is the company, he has mentioned most his ideas get rejected by them which leads to "not good enough" mentality, but also like you said very creative & unique artist are very hard on themselves too. They way he writes lyrics, melodies and when he sings it makes you "Feel Something" connect with your soul thats a Gift.
I really want him to see your videos & other professionals like yourself admiring his talent when he gets out of Military, maybe it will encourage him. Thank you again for your support and for becoming a fan of V the artist but i think if you see videos of himself you will become a fan of Tae the person too, his really a nice guy with all his uniqueness ✔️💜🐻✌️

Hi, I usually do not comment on UA-cam. But I wanted to write that I have seen many coaches' reactions to BTS. But none of them really understand and appericiate V's voice. Except you. Thank you for loving and appericiating V's voice. I wish he will see your video someday and find encourage to release those beautiful songs (I am not an native English speaker. Sorry for mistakes ) 💜

Taehyung said he made a whole album but threw it away and started again BESIDES his unreleased snippets, Yoongi once advised the boys to release their music even if they don't think it's good enough because they're hard on themselves so I hope Taehyung someday releases them, his snippets already have fans

In your video with "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" you talked about Vs Vibrato. I love how he is using that. Many singers use it too much, because they think it's nice to use it a lot only because they can do it. But Tae uses it only a little and when he does it it's so beautiful. The 2 songs when I noticed it were "Chrystal Snow" 😍, and now on "For us" 😍. I love it so much. I am so happy that you think he is underrated. That's what I think too. He has so many technics he uses always in the right time. He is so good as singer. But I think BigHit/Hybe don't sees that. All singer in BTS are very good, but Tae gets often not so much lines as the others. Maybe that is the reason he thinks he is not good enough. That makes me sad too. I love his voice and his songs so much. His music is not so mainstream as JKs and Jimins, but it's timeless. For Example, Jimins "Closer than this" is a really nice heartwarming song. But when I hear it, I like it, but 1-3 times is enough. And in a few weeks I don't still think of it. But Vs Layover I can hear 24/7 since release. I love everything you said about V. 💜🥰💜

Thank you for your praise & great appreciation of V's vocal abilities & his music. So many of us armys have been frustrated with many of his songs not being fully released. They are gems! Really beautiful creations. I don't know what the reasons are behind this. Whether it be a management decision or Tae himself lacking confidence but it's a real shame. His voice & the music are quite the perfect match. Raw, natural, beautiful. I adore Travel with Me & Christmas Tree.
Beauty of V s songs is you want to hear them over and over again, everyday, driving, walking or sleeping. His charm amazes me.
what you said about the label is probably true ☠️ they rarely use his actual voice and always make him use higher registers or different styles, he does make them sound good but not as his beautiful natural register 😞 I mean they literally used to only let him growl ..
This💀 they always add these effects to voices of the members but because of that we rarely heard his beautiful baritone voice. And he barely had lines even in the songs that fit him than others. All these years they never really took the best out of his voice... I was so glad when i found out he worked with different people for his album

Como dice Justin, Taehyung necesita rodearse de gente que le anime y le de seguridad en su trabajo, no se vio seguro para lanzar un álbum con sus canciones y como tú sabes las que nos dio a conocer pero luego rechazó eran muy buenas. Solo rezo para que en este año y medio en el SM se vuelva más seguro y decida publicar su propia música cuando vuelva.💜

also I think Taehyung questions a lot of things when making something, even of his music SOUNDED good to him, he probably felt that it's not authentic to him or doesn't represent him so he didn't release it, he's the type of artist whose priority is sincerity

One of the problems I have realised over the years of listening to bts music is that the producers such as pdogg and slow rabbit (their main in-house producers) love to work with lighter, brighter sounds such as jimin and jungkook's higher pop-y voices which keeps most of bts songs on the higher side, not giving taehyung (v) much room to shine. That was one of the reason he chose to work with producer outside the company for his album coz that original environment doesn't work well with his vocals. It is sad but the truth is most kpop producers don't know how to work with baritones and unfortunately taehyung has now spent way too many years in that kind of environment. I hope in the future he tries to break out of it and find some good producers that know how to bring out the potential in his voice.

It's sad that he is being sidelined and not getting the support he deserves from the very people he's making music for. And the compsny he's in thinks pop is the way to go instead on focusing on both and leaving a brilliant artist entertainer out in the cold. People think biases are about the popularity card when its really about the gem you have within BTS. Lack of appreciation for V as an artist is what we are angry and frustrated about. Its sad when a true artist is ignored for a commercial venture and easy popularity by working with the market. Luckily V has risen from the ashes so to speak and found himself . With a good support group outside the company and members, his burgeoning confidence and finding his voice has led him to a wonderful artistic path. Very proud to be his stan. Because you can no longer be a bias only when there are questions about fair representation.

I think you hit it right on the head with V. He actually used a completely different team for Layover and I think its because his company doesn't know what to do with his talent. Now granted all the guys are talented but I feel like they have never used his voice properly to let him stand out in vocal line songs. Don't get me wrong the man gets one line in a song and he owns it look at Jump that song all that stands out is his voice.
Taehyung is so brilliant that in "In The Soop", when it's raining and they're bored, V sits at the keyboard and simply creates the reality show's theme song, even though he doesn't receive credit for it, but what no one realizes is that before that he is singing and creates 2 melodies out of nowhere just for Jimin and Jin to put the lyrics of what happened to them that day in a fun way. This is a small record of Kim Taehyung's surprising moments.

You hit the nail on the head when you said that it's usually the artists who want to break from the mold of trends who tend to be the harsh on themselves. Taehyung's artistic choices has shown that he wants to put out music that speaks to his heart. Yes it may not be what's trending now, it may not be a popular genre but the music he loves, feeds his heart and soul. And not just his...but ours also. I hope that we get to see more of his artistry in the future.

Most people think if you have a high voice or a soprano you are great, but for me, i love a voice that gives me an inner warmth and pierces thru my heart. For me a very good singer is one that connects to his audience and is able to tell a story through a song and no one gives me that, only KIM TAEHYUNG.
