I've spent hours and hours trying to beat this game. You wouldn't be able to comprehend the frustration I felt during those hours. I attribute never getting past the 3rd level to the fact that I was 5 years old. Well, I still tried a little bit when I was 6. The point is, this game has frustrated me more than any other in my life.
If you boot the hands, they die in one hit. And one thing the developers did to make level 3 easier was to make the ravens "re-kickable" Remember how the pick ups on the hoverbike led to a 1up? Kicking the ravens would result in a pt increase with each kick 500, 750, etc. And would lead to a 1up. Assuming you can do this with at least one raven per group, you should easily get enough one ups to finish the level with beyond the max lives (each extra one carries over, it just doesnt show)
That was freaking awesome. My brothers and I NEVER got past the third level. I think my eldest made it to the boss two times and I only got to see it once for a few seconds before he died. This game was tough but I could make it almost all the way through level 3 and I was only 7 :3
this game is SOOOO HARD..unlike any other snes game ive played yet...its taken me and my cousin four months, playinng off an on,and we are still on lvl 4 only still..its crazy
i use the same toad xD btw, those candy hand things can be killed quicker, if u double tap forward for run motion, and then attack u will boot the hand instead of pounding it. it's a oneshotter instead of two.
@XBlackSquareX i think i have had that one before. i swithed to this one cuz when i had SNEX9 it work but i couldnt figure out the sound. it would sound very verry laggy. idk well thanks. i guess it is my only option ill try it again
on those hands if you run and then attack it does the big foot attack and kills them in one hit, at least it did on the version i played (i cant remember if it was this one or the genesis one)
This game is funnier than actual games nevertheless I am reffering to the NES version because SNES is impossible to complete and its difficulty is frustrating
There's a faster way to kill the blue hands in level 1. Dodge to the side, then dash in and hit it at the right moment and you'll do a soccer kick that'll kill it the first time.
why is the graphic not as good as battletoads in battlemaniacs wasnt that the first game on SNES or was this game the first?btw I think he just uploaded this speedrun and isnt the actual gamer like in many vids ;)
@XBlackSquareX im using zsnexw or whatever thats what it says. i have donkey kong country super metroid mario all stars and contra and they all work except battletoads. OUT OF ALL THE GAMES I CAN DOWNLOAD THE ONE I WANT TO PLAY THE MOST DOESNT WORK. hopefully u can give me some tips thanks.
Guess this guy didn't know that you could charge the balls with a hand enemy's and kill them in one hit instead of two. But I love this game more then battletoads in battlemaniac. It is so much easier. I even like the original NES battletoads more then battlemaniacs
