Casemiro and Rashford shouldn't have started in the first place. Any other coach drops players for bad a performance. By not dropping them you create complacency. You need competition for a place in the starting line up.

Rashford is shockingly poor. Zero end product over and over and over again. Check out his stats. His main contribution to the team this season has been running into opposition defenders, running the ball into touch, a series of loose passes every match, and blasting shots wide and over the bar. And he's getting paid what for that, £300k a week? Sell him to the Saudi's please, enough is enough, its week in week out even if he does score on the very very odd occasion.

He has been like that his whole career bro. Was first a prodigy under van gaal, was never played by mourhino who saw that he is not on that level to win us big trophies. His best he probably showed us under ole, who let him do what ever he wanted. But in ole's last season, where he was absolut criminal and should have been sold, he throwed him also under the bus. I’m trying to remember the last time I witnessed Rashford pass the ball to Hojlund. Rashford always seems to try and do everything on his own and often just loses the ball. Maguire was strong again defensively but his passing is poor and easily predictable. Casemiro seems to be a passenger in games and 3 steps behind everything. Garnacho and Mainoo need a rest but don’t know when that will be possible. Kambwala reminded the fans that he is young and still has a lot to learn. Onana seems to be growing with confidence even though the team is struggling. Hojlund looks despondent with the lack of service he is getting and AWB seemed to be unlucky with the decisions that were going against him.

I think the solution to this man utd mess is to fire Ten Hag NOW!!! because he has lost the dressing room, rarely uses youth, a rigid coach who uses the same sytem every time despite failure & doesn't like squad rotation, then on temporary basis bring a good vibes coach to pamper these prima donnas they might finish top 6 then in summer bring a no nonsense coach like De Zerbi & carry out a PROPER CLEAR OUT. One good thing with De Zerbi is he can do wonders with youth and average players....united won't require superstar signings he will work with talents like Openda, Jonathan Davids, Ivan Toney, Vlahovic, Brahim Diaz, Sergej Milenkovic, Ousmane Diomande, , Johan bakayoko, zubimendi, Latin America talent, replace Rashford with mitoma, Neco Williams or Leao etc

Rashford had a mediocre game, I thought Casemiro had a poor game. The team has fight and grit because they have come from behind a few times this season but there needs to be more fight more of the time.
I’m struggling with the dross we’re serving up, and I’m pulling my hair out at some of the constant lack of attitude and desire from a select few players that Ineos will hopefully move on (should be basics). However… who is available and an OBVIOUS improvement and almost ‘guarantee’ of success as a manager out there? The answer is 100% no-one. Of course someone might end up being amazing, but you can’t say that now with any conviction at all.
He has 1 more year left - Ineos just need to continue the background rebuild, continue restructuring the playing squad as best as they can to FFP (or whatever it’s called now), and let’s see where we are at say January next year.
I did think having a full week to train most weeks now, that we’d see an improvement in performance and playing style/patterns. However, I do feel ETH needs his main players back and say 2 or 3 new ones in to enable a psychological reset of the players mentality, as they seem to have accepted underachievement for this season now.
1 more season - or at least half the season - is a no-brainer for me. Buys Ineos time also to make changes, get the stadium good news story and vibe going, maybe announce another good news vibe with a new or improved training ground…. These things will lift the sense of gloom and also help ‘sell’ United to players we want to buy too. Afterall, a ‘resurgent, reawakening giant who will have a 90k+ brand new stadium and a brand new state of the art training ground’ is a nice selling aid for getting players through the door.
BE PATIENT FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER SEASON PEOPLE!!! (Please 😂) ⚽️

If your keeper is facing the number of shots ours is the chance of letting a few in you are expected to save is going to be higher. ETH is doing himself no favours not changing anything and hoping these players will get it at some point.
Fixing this team is going to be like the A Team making a fighter jet out of a tractor, some fence panels and a few fans with a mountain of cabbages for ammo. Over 10 years of incompetence and pocket lining has ruined a monster of a club.

Bournemouth got away with waterlogging the half of the pitch that we were attacking in the first half, which had the effect of taking Hojlund (our attacking threat) out of the game.

One thing about Rashford, first half (i think) he sprinted around chasing back a man that ended up back at a United corner flag. It went on for almost 2 minutes. It was a lot of work I wouldn't have expected.

Really tough afternoon. Felt bad for all the fans today: it was such a shitshow.
Game felt like an alalgamation of all aspects of the previous crap performances rolled up into one game, featuring such classics as: getting done on the break over and over again, not looking like we have a scoobie what we’re doing, defensive mistakes, being unstable to create any chances for the striker, conceding 20 odd shots or more, the Marcus Rashford vanishing act, and very nearly the now obligatory concession of a last minute penalty against. It is just horrendous to watch. I’d almost go as far as to say that this is now as bad as what we saw under RR tbh.
Guys you could have had a weekend off and just rerun any recent showings based on this team’s performances!
And trust me, this will continue unless we jettison this manager!
Onana conceded two goals that de Gea would have saved. Stop making excuses for a bang average keeper who simply isn't good enough for United.
Rashford only plays well when he has Shaw playing in support on the left flank. No Shaw, no Rashford. Shaw played most of last season and hardly any games this season, which mirrors Rashford's form. I know he also played games at CB, but Rashford needs a LB who overlaps to provide him with support and put defenders in two minds. On his own he is too easily contained.

The notion that Dalot has had a good season is mad, he was awful in the champions league, properly awful. Beaten at the back post constantly. I was at the Fulham game, the worst player on the pitch.
