This seems to be just the Hardware equivalent to a Software architecture that we have had for years. Instead of an interface/controller process just spawning a (potentially multithreaded) service process on a dedicated server to handle requests, it now also allocates the server hardware from "The mesh", to run the service process(es) on (if it needs it), and adds it to the virtual server. Presumably the interface/controller process is also meshed in much the same way. It is a very simple idea that is very difficult to explain.
I'm not an expert on server meshing but I will say that this tech has me very excited to hopefully not be booted from the server all the time cause of server load!
I encourage everyone to download UE5 and take a few classes. It will open your eyes to how much BS the devs go through. 😂😂 This is a great video btw. 🤙
Haha yessss I heard the plug for instanced castle sieges. Great video brotha!
I failed you brother... I will try and keep improving my edits. Just need to take things one step at a time. Thanks again for all the help!
This was such a well done video :)

i shouldn't have had that damn burrito last night...............
I think another reason they are introducing server meshing is for the open world node wars and sieges since they are technically uncapped.
100%! This MMO needs to be able to house 100s of players in a single area pretty seamlessly. Server Meshing can help with that a ton!
I still believe that story driven server mergers could be another major first for Ashes of Creation, if they only dared.
Now your talking crazy Anton... lol
Gonna be honest, this whole thing makes my head hurt lol I need the livestream.
Do you need to watch the video again? lol
Excited!!!!!
Keep up the good videos!
Thank you so much! Will do... =)
I was excited, because man, this is taking forever...
Good things will come dude... just a couple of more months!
Great video bro!
Thank you Willy! 😄
UE6?!
Yeah wouldn't it be something if Ashes was the first mmo to NOT have ques and huge lag and bugs on day 1 launch!
I'm personally not looking forward to Judgement Day.
Nyce!

Yeah UE5 is pretty nuts. I don't envy the devs working on Ashes lol but I wish them the best! Thanks brother!
