About Us:
Hi! We're Mike & Kerry, the proud owners of a 1992 Bluebird rear engine (pusher), 40' school bus! We named her Bussy McBusface in honor of the RRS Boaty McBoatface travesty!
We built a Tiny-Home-in-a-Bus for full-time living in the most adventure-friendly way possible. Bussy was never meant to be parked in a driveway, waiting for weekend trips or holiday getaways. After we finished the build, we packed everything we kept into the bus and drove away from our old house and into the world of off-grid living, aka boondocking, and endless travel adventures!
Since we planned to be boondocking the majority of the time, we made choices such as; a 100-gallon water tank, an Air Head composting toilet, a 1500w solar power system with 1000Ah in AGM batteries, etc. We'd love to have you stick around and follow us on our journey, from our Skoolie Build Series, to infinite buslife adventures beyond!

Man... I'd pay $5 just to watch Tyler reel in those 2 huge fish!!! That just looked like an awesome week in the Bussy life guys... Glad y'all were able to ring in the new year with such good friends!!!
You are catching baby whales! Glory! Huge! It was fun for me to see you all having fun. Happy New Year.
Your video was awesome, and everyone was having a crazy fun time at the New Year's feast. I'm so happy for your guys, and what you are experiencing on you travels to TX. My son pilots in his 1000' Maersk container ship into Galveston, to depart and head home to Katy Tx; before another 3-months trip up the east coast and everything in between, before his turnaround in Mumbai India. He and his family really love TX. I'm glad you are enjoying your retired years pursuing your dreams and experiences on MacBussy. Maybe one day our paths will cross, once I recover from my BKA-L, and get my now prosthetic. So happy for you, and thank you for sharing you life's adventures. Brad
looks like that fishing trip was loads of fun, but the new years party was more fun than what I had for new years. but thats the difference between spending new years with in laws vs friends. you all stay safe and I look forward to your next video.
Days like that make all the hard work of building the bus worth every minute of it. Stay safe stay strong stay healthy God bless and enjoy life .✌✌💖💪🎅🚌🌻👍
am from the region. Always fun fishing there..
If you want we’re having a swarm in late February in Melrose Florida
mike you should have made "poor mans" scallops!!!! you cut the wings off of the sting ray and then skin them so you end up with 2 triangle "meat wings".. then take a "hole" punch (cookie cutter) and cut out round fish chunks then lightly batter dip them or pan sear and dip in butter.... they are tasty!!! just steer clear of the tail!!!
Guys I think you have found your tribe 🥰
Now that is how you do New Years!
I never get tired of these videos 😁🙌🏼 I also love the new intro ❤ Kerry...I want to see that mosaic finished ma'am! Haha
Yum! Great barbequing! Your bus friend with their family looks like they are picking up ideas from your build. I wonder if they'll do it to their bus home? Make room is there is no room. :) You can also use a stainless steel cookie sheet for barbequing. No rust, you can save your foil too. :)
Party amimals, yea.
Thanks for explaining why the big ones were tossed back, I was wondering!
DAMN!! I JUST ATE 45 MINUTES AGO BUT WHEN YOU BROKE OUT THOSE SMOKED BACON WRAPPED CHILI DOGS I WAS INSTANTLY HUNGRY!!! DAMN YOUR SWEET...SWEET SMOKED GOODNESS!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good to see you all fishing so many Tubers at the beach or lake river never drop a line and I just don't get that.
Good video, but Geez, a month old? Well, glad you had a good time. It was still nice to see all the fun. Travel solo, so it helps keep me company. I am at Indianola too. Hope to say hi. Happy New Year!!!
Love it
Hi Mike, Hi Kerry, its so good to see you both having so much fun and long may it continue.. The smoker was a good buy Mike, that cooked fish looked really good I hope you all enjoyed it.. Pity to say goodbye to one of your circle but no doubt you will see them again.. Did your grandson get his talking bus??. Anyway hope you both are okay, its good to see you laughing a lot.. Take care, stay safe and love you both..K.
We decided to give that to him in person when we get back up there in a couple months. Thank you for your comment. It has been a fun adventure down here on the beach and it has been a lot easier to stay warm while being here!♥️

Texans are the best We are the friendly state..
👍
Mike I think I like catching more then eating the fish, so for sure $5 to just catch 1 is better then the last time I paid $10 at a pond n caught nothing, lol.

our Skokie is done, but we can't find insurance...
who do you use?
You need to go to a local agent preferably not one of the mainstream insurance carriers.
Did you get that Pellet stove from Ace Hardware on the island ? Curious if that was the one that runs on 12 volt ?
I was eyeing that one but it was $200 more expensive than the one we got. We got the pit Boss 540 Lexington which is a 120 volt model but doesn't use very much power.
@@BussyMcBusface I have a Pit Boss and love it ! You will have many good meals on it ! So happy Texas is serving ya'll well. Welcome.
