One tip I picked up on from watching you is baiting the spear reaction with stand 2, since the animations for stand 2 and spear are incredibly similar it works great

Extra tips not included in the video:
- If you are going for a jump kick, always input spear after the jump kick because it will only come out on hit. If the opponent blocks the kick the spear won’t come out.
When you have the opponent cornered: using short hop mix ups is great. You can short hop attack, short hop into grab, or short hop into the low.
Or short hop into B3

I have a tip for that sin blade corner combo
You could get a 2-1 before the 1-1 for style points. And if you land sin blade raw and end it with the 212 KB it’s the best damage with only one bar

I was critical previously of doing a spear after falling ashes KB instead of doing a teleport. I tried the spear after falling ashes KB and see your point.
I am trying to get a timing down and have not gotten very consistent yet.
It’s easy, literally mash spear input until it comes out and it’ll land every time

You did mention the F3 against jumpers! But also there are times when B1 can reach a random neutral jump and F3 cannot. So instead of B1,4(we know that wiffs), I do B1 TP confirm, so I dont miss an opportunity where F3 doesnt reach

@diff thanks for the vid new most but picked some up another class I find playing high lvl with him is sin blade demon slam and the dash for side switch or dash out and swapped for spear buff

Diff u missed something with sin blade, after teleport sin blade u can restand the opponent, after sin blade F3 and B14 (if it combos u get a swaggy combo, if it doesn’t the opponent will want to punish you and won’t block, making the 2nd hit of the string hit them and either u can end it with spear for like 10% non scaled damage or u can start another combo if u have another bar to amplify teleport, if u restand once u get more than 50% damage (25 ish per combo)

Arguably he's much easier in mk11, plus he's got some of the best tools in-game (mid command grab, dot damage, unblockable setup, totems, tick throws, d3 spam etc)

Just thought I'd mention, there's a better combo than the 47% Diff shows. You can replace the forward 3 into spear, with stand 4 into spear, it does 49%.

Wouldn’t say it’s a “complete” guide, more for intermediate skill players to fine tune their game with safest options. Very good strategy advice though. Love your videos. I would have liked to hear or see what combo inputs are being pressed here though, not just “look at this combo” as an instructional video.

Can somebody explain how to use spear after hell port, it’s impossible
Back 141 is only good with misery blade once they’re conditioned to the misery blade stance after the downward sword strike. but still very unsafe and not worth it. I’m trying to break that beginner habit still 2000+ matches in

Teleport cancel out. If you mean the input hold forward to stay same side hold down to switch sides

4:50 will it work if u tele cancel into a forward and grab? Or does the opponent have an advantage to punish it and get a full combo?
Im assuming you’re referring to the tele cancel behind them? With the correct timing the opponent will always be able to punish that cancel, generally with a d2 or a poke. Sometimes you’ll get away with it if you back dash immediately but anybody who has practiced punishing the cancel will pretty much get you every time.
So in other words it’s not safe lol. Just depends on the skill/timing of your opponent.
