I followed a remote training session for ITIL V4 which was a DISASTER during 1st confinement, then I had to use my voucher for the exam happening in 2 days, and the material is the worst: it's so abstract, using complicated words for nothing, just to look smart I guess. The content is as good as you will find anywhere but instructor's racing through it, so rushed. I reduced the speed to 0.75 and its too slow. The accent doesn't bother me worked with Indians and have listened to many indian lecturers

- What is the validity of foundation level itil v4 certification?
- is the exam an open book one as most of the institutes are asking to take it from home.
- in general, how much time does it take to study the material and get certified?

-- There is no validity for foundation level certification
-- Exam is closed book. Exam will be conducted paper based and online in authorized training/exam organization like Simplilearn. Alternatively, there will be web proctored exams which can be taken from your home or office (room) with webcam ON.
-- I recommend a week of preparation i.e. spending at least 2-3 hours /per day

This video is better than the video series/itil-4 certification course from your site. I do not learn well from a computer reading text from a powerpoint slide. And for the price I'd think you all could afford a person who actually understands and can explain itil-4 beyond the power point. Seriously not satisfied with your online course.

No, ITIL provides its own job opportunities. PMP certification would be of great help to become a Project manager.

Hotel provides services... While providing any services in involves Goods (for ex: food etc), service action i.e. at the end of Service provider & Service consumer

This video is great, the accent is killing me a bit but the info in right from the study guide.
Question 1: Opportunity vs Demand. Demand is when a Customer is asking for a service and you make it happen. Opportunity is when you can provide a service to a customer? can you elaborate on the Opportunity please? Explain it with examples like I'm a 5 year old :))

Opportunity refers to options or possibilities to add value for stakeholders or otherwise improve the organization. Demand refers to need or desire for products and services among internal and external consumers.
Let's say your client is a service provider. Demand is the client's need to resolve the problems as soon as they are reported. Opportunity is the proactivity you can do to detect and resolve the problems before they are identified and reported by your client clients.
