This is a really good tutorial! I managed to add a Health system to my game so that you have 3 lives and die when you lose them instead of dying immediately after getting hit, Thank you!
Yeah! It's actually very easy, just make a new variable, Health, then change it so that whenever a zombie touches you, it reduces your health by 1, and also In the player sprite, change it so that if health = 0 brodcast game over, very simple
I even managed to get the game 2 other zkmbies, a slow one, and a fast one, also can you teach us to make a level system if you can? I know this can help many people and their games
Oh and in my game I managed to make a score that is very simple, just make sure not to change score every time the bullet touches zombie, instead when zombie killed, and the best part is that I followed griffpatch's tutorial on how to change boring variables into big numbers that show the score variable just prettier, pretty simple and really nice

This is a really good tutorial! Just wanted to say that a more easy way to fix the problem of multiple Player hitting multiple Zombies at once is just set the Zombies position to Random, this way it puts the Zombies in different places so you can't hit multiple.

2:08 all you have to do here is get the "or" block and place the "if touching zombie" block in the or block and grab the "touching edge" block place it all in the or bloc then place it in the "if then" block
for those who when setting up the zombie health and it still can one shot, the "For this sprite only" hasn't activated yet. If still not working, you forgot to set the zombie health to 3

I went through again and all the code was correct I pretty sure so do you know the problem is?

I copied what you did but when ever i shoot the zombie and the health lowers as soon as a new zombie appears it resets the health back to full and i cant kill them.

Watch the part again. Click on "My Blocks" category, it is red, "Make a block", and then click on "Add an Input", and name it to "Position"
