@@teresasummerfield1210 Thanks Teresa. I had my machine for ages sitting on the floor taking up space until I eventually figured it all out and now love it. Happy Christmas lovely ❤️
Thank you for such an informative demonstration, you are so organised!! I am envious...I too have already bought the Prym creative tool as I have some Prym stuff already and each of the green machine dies are £19, which I cannot justify as yet. So, the green machine bit didn't apply to me but the way you organised your dies with numbers, bags and samples is inspirational. I just LOVE your organisation tips!!
@@sarahscott-ze1th thanks Sarah. I'm glad you got something out of this video. I've been collecting my dies for years and yes you're right they are expensive. Enjoy studding and happy sewing ❤️
That's a workout and a half, lifting that machine up! I watched a craft show on TV the other week demonstrating the Green Machine, but I have already bought the Prym Creative Tool, and I am just stocking up with all the necessary dies, eyelets and snaps, etc. It worked very well to put snaps onto a shirt instead of buttons and buttonholes. I think I will use the metal snaps when I get round to making my Downtown jacket.
@@Yorkygirl59 thanks Diane. I believe these machines are pretty much the same and at the end of the day it's all about the finished look of the garment. The Downtown looks great with snaps. Enjoy ❤️
Great description/demonstration. I've had to pull in my son to do the manual kits. I laughed when you said you'd hit yourself with hammer, that would be me! Debating re prym thing. Don't think I'll do enuf to make it worth my while tho.
@@gerrysiebert8639 thanks Gerry. I thought that about my machine, but since investing in my first dies I was hooked and used it in quite a lot of projects. I'm not great with a hammer! Thank God for sons! ❤️
Great tutorial. Could you tell me is there any difference with the gold and silver dies for hole cutting. I probably got the wrong one with my green machine. I bought a 3mm gold bottom die set!!
@@libbykilpatrick1578 thanks Libby. Look at the die set description from the website you bought your die sets from, and check the die set measurements; the screw top measurement is 8mm and the base 19mm. So if the gold and silver dies are different measurements then they won't fit your green machine. Hope this helps. Happy Christmas ❤️🎁
It is definitely a great machine however to make it cost effective you'd need to be using it every day to make it pay as those dies are megs expensive as is the machine. If you were making bags for a business then I'd recommend. If you are only making an occasional bag or garment that needs a rivet or Jean button I'd say it's really not worth the money 😊
Great tutorial, Kim. I didn't realize so many parts were required to use the machine. Loved your numbering system and samples. Thanks!
@@kathymcconville6428 thanks Kathy. Love a system! 😁❤️
Thank you for a great tutorial now I know how to use my green machine

Interesting toy. I’m tempted to get one but will wait until I get a bit more of the stash sewn up. Thanks for the detailed show and tell 😊

Hi Kim. Sorry you hubby is not feeling well and you haven't been able to get a lot done. I hope that resolves soon. Merry Christmas.❤
