- One thousand four hundred girls were abused, trafficked and groomed in Rotherham between 1997 and 2013.

But not one police officer, past or present, lost their job - despite more than 200 allegations of police failures.
Today victims and survivors responded angrily to the publication of a report by the police watchdog into what went wrong, because - they say - the investigation, which took eight years and cost £6 million, hasn't held anyone fully accountable.

I am now retired, I was previously an advice worker in a nationwide Advice Agency. One of my colleagues, a Sikh man (this ws twenty or so years ago), told me that Sikh girls were being predated upon by Pakistani men and therefore the Sikh community escourted their daughters too and from school etc as Pakistani men hung around and were propositioning their girls. Police walked in to a bedroom to find a elderly Muslim man naked in bed with a 13 year old young child . The police walked back out the house doing nothing and said they didn’t know what to do and didn’t have enough training . So if it was their daughter being raped by a man would they walk away to let to rape continue . Some were murdered , some branded like cattle with a heated iron . The then head of the CPS Kier Starmer told the law courts not to prosecute anymore men that were responsible for raping these children . Then in return he was knighted .
Yeah they changed the law to allow them to apologise and avoid a criminal record🤬

And the Times journalist who did initially expose the story then endured intimidation from the Police to reveal his source that helped blow this open. That tells you all you need to know about the Police's knowledge / involvement in what had been going on. The only time individual Police Officers are held to account is when senior officers don’t like them or when they have done something that cannot be covered up.
Even then many times they are charged with a lesser offence and many times get lighter sentences

I don’t care what anyone thinks I know I’m responsible for the recent uncovering of the Rotherham grooming gang and I can prove a lot too and I’ve had two serious attempts on my life and I’m under serious surveillance by police again right now and every time I try talking to the police they just cover everything up and I’ve had enough does anybody have any suggestions about what I can do I’m fed up with it all somebody please help me x
If you cannot get help, which is obvious, then its time for you to move to another place where you can lead a peaceful life.
As I understood it; a huge proportion of children were from Children's Homes, where the police did have the right to go in and investigate...were any there any investigations on these places?

We need our police force. Full of like minded individuals who actually want to help the community.
