- This video demos the Streamlight TLR6 on my Glock 43. It is a light/laser combo that attaches to the trigger guard of the Glock 43 and fits nicely. It has a similar finish as the polymer frame of the Glock so it blends in nicely.
Tier 1 Concealed makes holsters that accommodate this light, and they give a solid "click" which isn't always the case with guns with lights. Also, the light gives you tons of real estate for fantastic grip. Good review!
I bought one of these as a gift for a friend's 43. I installed it. it was really nice. the light is bright enough for self defense uses.
I'm looking at getting 1 for my 42. Idk. I might get it just to have.
Just Making Videos do you have to calibrate the laser or is it right on sight out the box
How do you charge it?
Cool Video, I've really enjoyed mine. Had a hard time getting a good Holster for it. Finally found the JM4 Tactical, Highride XL. Works awesome.
Jm4 tactical highride
Looks like a sweet off-hand backup
Awesome video as usual! I'll be getting this accessory for my future G43, which is coming to me this week.
Looks great
Switches on both sides??
Is this product still in use on your firearm? If so, how well is it holding up and is it maintaining zero?
Do you have a list of holsters to accommodate the tlr-6?
I use a JM4 Tactical Highride XL for mine and it works awesome.
Dude you butchered it with the talon grips I can see using them on an m&p but zero need on the glock with the stock grips I’m guessing you were doing that for looks?
Just Making Videos hmmm I’ll have to revisit my statement I just got the g43 have them on other guns but never seen the need on glocks but I’ll buy a set of grips and eat my words if it’s better
Just Making Videos I stand corrected the talon grips were an improvement good call
@@ishootguns did you use a sheet of their talon grip material to do the pinky extensions?
@@glockwhore they really are a great improvement. Especially if you follow the instructions and heat and form at least 5x i still feel and see the stock stippling through tbe rubber! Texture is comfortable against my skin if i wear iwb also
Buyer beware... if you have short sausage fingers you're gonna have a difficult time activating this laser/light combo under duress. Much like how it can be difficult to get to the slide stop with the thumb without altering your grip, it's difficult to get to the on/off button with your index finger without changing your grip. I felt unconfident with the tlr6 so I ended up returning it.
Use your support hand thumb to activate it. Just like the TLR7. Your offhand thumb should fall directly on the switch when aiming.
How did you go about sighting in the laser?
Shoot at something an see if you hit it
Gun safety!! Why is slide not locked open?😱
Buahahaha😅
BigDaddyOldDude what a fudd
How do you charge it?
It takes 2 non rechargeable batteries. When they go down you replace them.
