my best is that the apple smart thing thingy is a huge success and my worst take is that apple intelligence will not make a dent in the market or anything else connected to ai for that matter
FDA clearance while Samsung is still waiting for blood pressure monitoring clearance in the US since the Galaxy Watch 3 lol, I hope it speeds up and that is fixed.
You guys either need to fly Allison out to the studio or give her a green screen and camera equipment. Her being the only one not in person is jarring.
This has to be one of the most unimaginative set of predictions. Everything that was said here could be rephrased as "whatever has happened in 2024 will continue to happen in 2025". And yes, Allison could have used better cameras. I'm pretty sure any phone would have better than whatever vaseline smeared potato she used.
I can appreciate the use of smart (door) locks for internal security within a company, but seriously, what is so difficult or traumatic about carrying a physical key. It seems to me to be just another way that burglars and other criminals will be able to exploit to easily gain access to one's home. Has the tech industry not noticed the way that cars with electronic key fobs are stolen? It is an unnecessary expense. The one thing that these tech companies are not doing well enough is using their AI technology to help them roll out their software etc in far more languages than they currently do. Instead, they are pushing other languages onto users and by doing so, they are aiding and abetting the destruction of other cultures and languages. Many of which are very vulnerable. I personally find this an absolute disgrace and governments around the world that actually do work positively and constructively to protect such languages should start demanding action on this. Access to technology in one's own language should be the first priority.
Tax credit for EV's only saves you a few hundred dollars in taxes. A $7,500 tax credit, will not save you $7,500. All it does is lover you tax liability.
It's a good thing that electrics are going to stop being a fashion... Let the small vehicles with 2 or 3 doors and manual transmission come back... It's already boring that everyone is making electrified “SUVs” with a lot of doors, they all do exactly the same thing...
What’s your best and worst tech prediction for 2025?

I review cars and all im going to say is even bigger center console screens and less buttons; especially on EVs :(
This is one of the things HMG has done well, a commitment to buttons
The wrost idea is using your phone 2 open doors lol

My prediction is we will get all this stuff and yet won't be any happier or more fulfilled.
