I am a Floridian visiting Massachusetts and taking the time to watch the Nebraska rally. Iam thrilled everyone is healthy, happy and on fire for Harris/Walz.
I live in Clearwater, Florida but I moved here from Omaha, NE and I graduated from Creighton University, and I lived in Omaha, Nebraska for 18 years and I've now lived in Florida 18 years. I'm voting BLUE (ALWAYS have) and I'm voting YES to Amendment 4 in Florida for WOMEN'S Reproductive Rights (No woman wants government of ANY kind making her health or medical choices, especially her reproductive choices). I live in a RESTRICIVE ABORTION BAN state of 6 weeks which is absolutely harmful and ridiculous for women! Women don't even know they are pregnant at 6 weeks! Obviously, the abortion ban was made up by a MAN who has no clue about women's bodies, pregnancies, etc. I TRUST women in making their OWN choices about their OWN bodies and their OWN families, lives and their OWN futures. A woman, just like a man, deserves a right to privacy in her health/medical choices. Republicans do NOTHING but disrespect women, disrespect military members, disrespect seniors, disrespect those with disabilities, disrespect immigrants, disrespect minorities, disrespect the Rule of Law, disrespect law enforcement who got BEAT and bloodied on January 6th, disrespect the working class, disrespect the Constitution and put DOWN our country, calling it a 'third world country". Minnesota is a very politically varying state, it tends to vote blue because of the vast population of the twin cities/metro area but that is a rather small area of the state. I grew up in one of the counties that borders Canada and there are a lot of Republicans and that is kind of how a large chunk of the state is. He however has been able to cross party lines quite a few times to get some very good laws passed in the state. He is a politician out for the betterment of all not just himself or his side alone.
If you asked Tim Walz if you could borrow his luggage, he'd loan it to you, drive you to the airport, pick up your mail and water your lawn and pick you up at the airport when you got home. His wife would have dinner on the table for you when you got home, and if you wanted him to, he would take care of your dog while you were away. That is what Americans do for each other.
