This is a unexpected drop, where he purposefully filters out the high frequencies you expect to give it more a percussive, low end style that almost sounds like you are listening underwater, as if, you know, you _dove_ into the track.This makes this track way more memorable and interesting than every god damn Illenium supersaw copy that comes off from some fake producer on soundcloud. There's of course the genius layering and intricacies of Jeff's productions like in everything, and as always, many elements of trance and even techno in this track. So no, there is not nothing going on, but rather a lot going on. If you want supersaws and white noise, stick to Illenium, Said The Sky, or god forbid, Marshmellow (which is why I don't like Rush Over Me.)
