I stayed in the beach front room closest to the ferry dock back in 2010. The sound of the ferry docking actually felt soothing to me.

Love this resort. Stayed there many times in the 70's and 80's with my family. Originally there was only 1 pool. They added one long-house and the quiet pool sometime in the 80's and then the last two longhouses nearest the TTC after that. I'm not a fan on how the resorts now are so close together now after all the expansions and the new DVC building at Poly is ugly and does not fit.
Forgot to add the original pool that had the lava rock slide behind the waterfall had underground speakers that played hawaiian music.
Love the morning walks but would be better with music and someone not talking the entire way
