I don’t even do leather crafting at all but love learning new things and got down a rabbit hole to here and I just wanted to say that I love your attitude and passion for your craft! Really enjoyed watching and made me smile several times!
Hi there. Thank you so much for the great content. I've been wanted to ask you: Would you consider showing how to do a center-seam sheath for an asymmetrical knife (e.g., one with a clipped point), molded to the blade. I've been trying to imitate the sheaths of 19th-century Sheffield Bowies and I'm really struggling to form the point.
I am currently doing a similar project. I would like to see how you attach your suede to your work. At what point or size would you stitch around your cuts?
Hey Chuck I know you dont like to do edge-leashing, but is there any chance you could do a video on how to do it? I really like the way you explain things, and make everything look easy (might even need you to do a video pn how to do your taxes... ;-) )
It depends on the material and the thickness. I would assume a laser could be used and you should be able to import a digital pdf pattern to cut it. If cutting it by hand, print out the pattern, cut out pieces and trace onto acrylic template then cut it out.

Chuck, just to be fair, you most certainly do favor leather craft!
You opened my mind to do many things. Thanks
This is the best craft!
