First, oil level is checked only at engine idling. There is no level for stopped engine. Ur oil looks more like necessary to change. A440f was used only with gasoline engines, diesels (turbo) had non electronic A442f in 1990-6.1992. Not remember sure how it was with 1hz engine, mostly those are manuals.
Hi mate, Is a 2 - 3 lag caused by this?? Sometimes my motor free revs for a second before changing to 3rd, It annoys the hell out of me. Even a full rebuild didn't fix it.
Mine has slight flare during lockdown about 100rpm from 3rd down to 2nd. Have also noticed it with no load going downhill around a rhs corner. Fluid not to dirty bout same as yours. Would that be a solenoid?
Hey mate I got code 41 from the flashing OD light. Says TPS. Should I see if it’s fixable by readjusting it or just swap in a new one and call it a day? Mine is a 1hdt btw
The A442 should hit the rev limiter. If one is fitted. Meaning just before the redline of the tacho. Mine will change on any gear 1-4 at 4200ish rpms. However, it is never a good idea to get a standard engine/transmission into that rev range in general

hi mate, mine has this hard jerk when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear and its not the solenoids, any thoughts?
1 - does it do when cold or all the time??
2 - Which Auto is it??
These a442f transmissions are pretty bomb proof. Most issues are caused by a bad solenoid which is super easy to r&r

@@hiteck007 yes... I have also seen people adjust their throttle cable by throttle body... When too loose, some of these symptoms may happen...
Where can I find the auto computer? What is the part number? Mine is MISSING for some stupid reason.
If it missing check fluid levels and plugs are connected properly. If you need a TCU make sure you check with auto you have.

TBH, you might be better off just to replace it.
I mean you could try and fix it, and there is no guarantee it will hold. So replace maybe a better option

Yea thanks I have a manual 1hz and I change gears at 2,600 and sit on the highway at about 2,800 just wondering if I was over reving it
