Trip stories, 5gms g. Teacher and drinking little kings. Closed my eyes and a field of mushrooms were dying. Started to get dark and gloomy. Poured out beer, and never wanted to stop. Three years clean of alcohol gladly with no withdrawal. Im glad I don't drink anymore, Keep your head up and feet on the ground 👍🙏 namaste

this video almost entirely explained everything i did wrong on a previous experience. I thought i had done everything right, but no, i see now that you can never be prepared enough and that things such as setting, and setting intentions can play such a larger role when done properly.

Psilocybin containing mushrooms save my life. The drastically reduced my benzodiazepine withdrawal allowing me to quite illicit pill addiction after three years of heavy daily use before it would had became medically dangerous to quit

Yeah. More people should try psychedelics.
Not only in a medical environment because in some countries they are illegal. But with the right set and setting they can do wonders.

Psychedelic is the answer to most severe anxiety and depression. The use of magic mushrooms completely helps one get over depression and makes you feel like yourself.

thanks for the video clip, good topic, Shelby listed a number of things, what about just knowing what you want for the time being/the trip, and just accepting self as is, You're more then good enuff, and everything is a work in progress, intentions and goals are good, acceptance can be one of them (too)

One of my favorite shroom stories is of Bill Hicks relating his experience with his friends when they “took what Terrence McKenna would call a 'heroic dose'. Five dried grams of psilocybin mushrooms, and believe me our 3rd eye was squeegeed quite cleanly. I laid in a field of green grass for four hours saying, My God, I love EVERYTHING! The heavens parted, God looked down and rained gifts of forgiveness onto my being healing me on every level; psychically, physically, emotionally, and I realized our true nature as spirit, not body, that we are eternal beings and God's love is unconditional and there's nothing we can ever do to change that. It is only an illusion that we are separate from God or that we are alone. In fact, the reality is that we are one with God and he loves us.”

My intention: Is to hopefully discover why the "wiring" in my brain has gotten so screwed up. I get instantly frustrated with people that can't answer the simplest of questions. Or, why when I ask a simple "yes or no" question. People insist on giving me a lecture on why their answer is "yes or no". But, I'm also afraid of unlocking memories of a vehicle accident that I was involved in almost 40 years ago. An accident that I have no memory of.

Personally, I would wait until you are ready to be shown anything that you need to know, be willing and open. I think it's ok to be nervous, but be prepared to experience things that are difficult. Having a guide or trip sitter, that you can trust, is really important, so that you can be reassured if necessary. Writing down a list of things for them to tell you, should you become overwhelmed, can be helpful.
Maybe you won't even be shown anything too difficult the first time, but it's important to be ready and open regardless.

Thank you. I've been ⌚ many of the studies, mostly with trials in England. I know that everyone is different. My partner is my trip guide. She has experience. And, we'll be asking a friend to help assist. My former doctors told me that I may never remember the accident. My main hope is to try to realign my thought process. And, form a deeper connection and possibly get back to a balanced psyche. Double Blind and a few others have helped with a lot of information.

@@charlotteblackman429 that's great! I did a lot of research beforehand too. One information resource that I wish I'd found before my first psilocybin ceremony, is a podcast called Psychedelic Therapy Frontiers. It's more geared towards therapists who are interested in doing psychedelic therapy with clients, but they talk about a lot of different aspects of psychedelic therapy, for example: how to support someone though a difficult or scary part of a psychedelic experience; the role of music; the potential various benefits if the different psychedelics; in their experiences, the roles indigenous shamans and things to be learned from them; the spiritual aspect of psychedelics, etc. Lots of interesting conversations and also about therapy in general. I don't know if that's something of interest to you, but if you have any interest in psychology and the role of psychedelics, I highly recommend it!
Good luck on your journey ❤️

Can you do a video on "apprenhension to commune with your favorite ally when you know it's good for you"
For some reason, growing up as a psychonaut, over time I have felt less like the jehovahs witnesses of psychedelic drug taking and more like, holy fuck I'm so petrified to revisit DMT or high dose shrooms after my PTSD which actually had absolutely nothing to do with using those allys/tools but more that it complicated the Set of the ordeal...and perhaps the apprehension is a need to heal and integrate, either through the compounds as guides as they have always been or while down in the integration phase. I maintain that psychedelics, especially tryptamines, have absolutely catapulted my self awareness and personal growth journey 20x.
So why is there apprehension? When I was 16, 7 grams of mushrooms didn't intimidate me.
When I was 20, breakthru doses of DMT didn't intimidate me.
Why at 28 is my faith to jump in less when for instance on low dose mushrooms I just had an absolute paradigm shifting breakthru?? Why the fear? So. Weird.
