There are many people who persevered and made it by the grace of God. Then they give money and opportunities to ungrateful and lazy people. There are also people who made it and won't give a quarter to the very people who helped them.
As a engineer I’ll say that we expect too much of artists. Most of these artist are young people who are still growing and learning basic life lessons, and they get preyed on by older artist and managers instead of being taught by them. We expect these young people to strip away their personal feelings and lives for the betterment of the business and that leads to them completely checking out altogether. Basically what I’m saying is that we need to stop trying to force young people into being what we want them to be, and we need to allow young people the opportunity to figure themselves out at their own pace.
Labels and executives aren't parents lmao. When they invest in an artist, they want a return on their investments. It's up to the artist to have their shit together.
Nah. Most rappers don't have a strong work ethic and that is why most rap careers are short. Most people arent built to put in work and build something from the mud up. The same is true for entrepreneurship everyone claims to want that but most aren't gonna do what it takes to get the money to get going, and more importantly most wont put in an 18 hours day and sacrifice their time away from other stuff.
Nah Some of these artist get on some B.S. I know this story very well. U give them n they began to feel entitled and slack. I can go on but Flip nailed it
Everyone has the drive. the problem is most people wait until bad situation drive them to work harder. Most people would rather live comfortable with what they already know while being complacent, than taking those extra steps to improve themselves with change, because they feel the change willl require more pain compared to what they already know. staying stagnant with a few exceptions usually ends up causing more pain than working on improvement.
