- This video includes all of the original music I composed for MEIOU and Taxes under the album title "The Sun Never Sets". I couldn't even begin to tell you how many hours went into the making of this batch of music but it was quite a bit.

Every song here was recorded, mixed, and mastered by myself in Presonus Studio One 2 Professional. The following instrument soundsets were used in its production:

I can remember the first time I loaded up MEIOU and Taxes. I was gripped from the loading track. It fits perfectly with the 18th/19th century
Simply divine. Slots beautifully into songs I have been listening for 1000's of hours.
2 years and ~1000 hours of listening to this soundtrack later - still awesome.

Please continue. I've recently returned to MEIOU and realised the only tracks that aren't non-stop repetition of the same 5 pieces from vanilla EU4 (before they've released any sort of DLCs) are yours. Need. More

@@stephenwrightmusic Please do. The game badly needs good music and Paradox kind of just shrugs, re-releasing the same tracks over and over, with slightly changed instruments. They make me miss EU2 public domain music.

I just work a borderline absurd amount of hours most weeks between two jobs leaving me with less than ideal time for a major commitment like quality music. But I'm certainly interested if the opportunity presents itself.

Thank you! I do still technically work with the M&T programmers but have been too busy with school and work to really do a lot of work lately.

downloaded the mod recently and to be honest the mod itself is god but the music is something what makes me not changing the version
but a lack of "The King is Dead" hurts me, the best

Though I prefer Veritas et Fortitudo, I've played a lot with Meiou & Taxes... And your wonderful soundtrack has now become an earworm to me. Thanks a lot :)
Thanks ;) the standalone mod up on Steam should be compatible if you want to play VeF and have my soundtrack alongside it. Only thing is you /might/ have to change the version number in the mod file. It works for me but some people have reported minor problems if the version number isn't current.
I have no idea how to change the version number but I started a new campaign with Meiou so it won't be necessary ^^
Oh, well if you do decide to ever do so - just open the mod file in your mod folder(I wanna say the mod file for the Steam standalone soundtrack is swmm.mod) using notepad and adjust the listed version number to match the current game version, and save the file. That's all there is to it!

Not quite, it's a soundtrack for a mod for the game Europa Universalis IV :)
Although the songs in this particular UA-cam video are quite outdated and not the finished versions.

@@theonordlund1823 Distrokid booted me off of EVERYTHING because Apple music reported too many repeat listeners. I was making something like $4 a year in streaming revenue off the platform lol. I've been meaning to re-upload the entire OST at some point somewhere else for a few years now, considering the song versions in this video are all out of date anyway. The superior versions are on Soundcloud at my account "stephen-wright-11" with the suffix " - New" at the end of the name. Your best bet for the time being would be to make a playlist on there of the tracks you like. It isn't ideal but... yeah.
