    This so exciting. Like git seems so hard to build. Fun for sure! Thanks

      Thanks! It’s definitely interesting to learn how it really works behind the scenes.
      This is also my first attempt at cutting down stream vods so hopefully its much more approachable

      @@BrooksBuilds it’s definitely much more approachable. I mean just 15-20 minutes of content aka task is the best in order to not loose focus and make breaks between videos. Sometimes livestreams are hard to watch especially when watching recorded livestream. So thanks for cutting it 👌✨

      @TheZazatv It’s definitely an interesting experience to edit videos. I’m experimenting with one video per feature for this series and I’m already seeing the videos getting much longer. Next series my might try something else

    This is a ton of fun, the one issue i have with codecrafters is that they don't deep dive into how git functions beforehand, but during the building process.

      I can see that could be frustrating. I personally like the less explaining which forces me to learn more. But I can see times when the other way would be nice too.

    Do we need to buy code rafters subscription for doing this COMPLETELY??

    • @BrooksBuilds

      If you want to have your code tested by CodeCrafters, yes. However you can still code Git on your own and just test manually without CodeCrafters.

      Yes code crafters is payed, although you can create a free account and they have some of their challenges free for limited times.

    Is it just me or is this video quality so bad that it's flickering over the whole screen?

    • @BrooksBuilds
      @BrooksBuilds  10 місяців тому +1

      flickering? i didn’t see that when i uploaded. is there a timestamp where it’s really bad for you and i can check it out

      @@BrooksBuilds 0:03 for example, the green in the background changes color so many times that it's irritating to the eyes.

      @BrooksBuilds  10 місяців тому

      @@lukafireman I looked it that time, and compared to the original I have. I can’t see the flickering, but that could also be because I’m the author. I’m concerned that maybe the problem is in the file itself 😢

      I have tested the video on IOS, PC and Android, all of which are showcasing the flickers, if you'd like I am able to show you this in more detail.
      Please note that the flickering is only visible on smaller screens if you know it's present, and the flickering is only related to switching colors from blue to red pertaining to the background.
      If you'd like to look into this matter more, don't refrain from reaching out. Cheers!
