    This was an amazing interview. It helped me open my eyes more to the situation I am currently in, I loved the reference to the moles because I am currently and slowly going through the moles.

      Awesome! Glad it was valuable! Besides the mole example, any other major takeaways that you found eye-opening?

      @@GeoffreySetiawan another thing I found was the way I used to masculinity was wrong, I believed it was control, mask emotions and having all the answers what I now see it as being there emotionally instead of just existing in the area. I also now see that I used to only focus on the things that benefit myself instead of what benefits both and what helps her.

    I really loved this interview. Even though I'm not 100% the same as Cameron. The competition, cup, and overflowing message mentioned by Geoff really hit home. That was brilliant.

    I am just starting rhe changes in me. And I do believe that this process takes a LOT of time. As per my partner, she said she is done, she don't love me anymore, she does not want to talk about us. But we do talk everyday. I learned a lot from this video.

    My ex definitely did not feel emotionally safe. I would always use logic and shut her down. Lost patience several times and now we’re in the middle of a divorce. Very sad but I can relate to these guys. If I could do what these guys are doing I may win her back

      THIS!!! My wife asked us to be friends, while she is dating another guy. Then she asks for the divorce because I had to inform her family why I was moving stuff out of a house on their property. Logic has failed, so how does one handle this

      Any update man? I'm grappling with this right now. This is probably the hardest part of going through Geoffrey's advice from these videos. For a while your wife has no consequences, and that is because you want her to feel safe with you. But she gets almost a free pass for at least a short time to do the worst things in the world. This is the part that really stings and it's rarely addressed.
      If you push on this issue, like asking to wait until after divorce, my wife then said she won't wait until after the divorce to see other people. They are testing you and wanting to see how you react. They might even deliberately cause you excessive pain (like my wife and my friend's ex-wife) and you cannot crumple in these moments. If you keep growing the outcome won't matter, if Geoffrey's advice doesn't work for that particular relationship you will at least rid yourself of an abusive partner and bring your improvements to the next relationship.

    My husband tells me I’m making him complacent and I’m the reason why he cannot grow, on top of that he doesn’t love me anymore.. he wants a divorce because of that, we’ve been married for a year now

    How can I join the program? I'm married for 29 years. My wife doesn't want to work at the marriage. She's cold towards me. She has a separate bank account now. My wife plans on moving out as soon as possible. I did all the wrong things, Crying, Begging, Pleading, Compromising. Nothing worked. Now i'm trying to give her space by not texting or contacting her. I say hi when I see her or ask if she needs anything. I tried telling her i'm working on myself so I can be a better husband, But she does not care. Is there anything I can do? Please help.

    Hello goeffrey and everyone, will be seeing my ex in a couple of weeks planting the right seeds we had a really nice convo a couple of days ago and before 2 sessions of questions in which i feel like she gave out everything that bothered her. It will probably be a long talk when we see each other f2f. I have 2 questions , one should i bring up the fact that i would like to start over slow and ease into a relationship or should this come from her since she initiated the split and 2 should i show her this resourceful channel and watch a video or 2 together?

    • @GeoffreySetiawan
      @GeoffreySetiawan  Рік тому +3

      1) This all depends on the depth and quality of your growth. But if she is not initiating coming back, that's a tell tale sign that your growth was either not in the correct direction, not consistent enough, not deep enough, or not FELT by your partner enough. (Note - allowing your partner to FEEL your changes is not done by you TELLING her about it, but through the subtle creation of safety). Don't fall for the paradox of logic - Look my my video on this.
      2) We should always be the one to lead the healing process. If you try to start the healing process simply by showing my videos, you're not creating safety directly with her, but with me. That does not work. It's the same pitfall that a lot of my clients fall into when trying couples therapy. Look up my video on this as well!
