The book of James has clarity when placed in its proper position. The book of James was written by James the apostle who was killed at Acts 12:2. The apostle James wrote to the 12 tribes scattered abroad (James 1:1). He wrote this message to his kinsmen before Paul revealed anything. James was giving his kinsmen a heads up concerning the coming Tribulation, the times of Jacob's Troubles because as far as James knew, that was the next thing on God's prophetic time-table. When one studies the Revelation of Jesus Christ, one realizes that during the 7 yr Trib the Jews on earth will truly have to show their faith by their works.
Thank you for this great message.
