Duuuude, I saw you do inverts in a video recently and thought they looked so sick. Had to click right away when I saw this. Yesterday my wrist touched the coping and I landed. Was amazing being so close at 44 on a 4 footer. The bail tips were huge. Thanks!
Love how AJ rides the Frankie Hill 🤘🏻
My fav of all the Powell reissues. Crazy concave and a great feeling board with loads of pop.
Yes, lm thinkin about getting that deck
“Whatever you have” lmao as if we all don’t have a pelvis 😂
funny thing a couple of years ago this guy made me do an invert and im still doing them xD
Saw AJ doing inverts a couple of days ago at Shredfest😳😳Mind was blown. I’m gonna brush up on my street plants & then see if I can work up to mini ramp.
One of the guys who really, really understands tricks.
sickest and hardest trick imo, hands down the scariest trick to even attempt
I'm trying this soon as I get off work 😂
Very cool! Good job breaking it down.
I can’t wait to try these 💯
It's a sick trick, never see anyone doing them, I'm trying but haven't got it yet, this helps 🔥
so very proud of you!! love you
Landed my 1st one ever this year, still low still whatever but let my tell you this trick chill your spine like ...no words, i remember i had like 2 weeks of 24/7 euphoria. Anyway, I suggest wood ramps, there is the too much leaning back slam that didnt see here,( cuz AJ is daaaamn good)....when I was close to landing my 1st i used to fold a couple of shirts under my jeans on the side of my pelvis, those slam are tuff shit...yeeep, i am that old.
get some hip pads. they stop most hippers and pretty much invisible when you wear them.
You are really to doing the A-1 grade type inverted hand to coping stands! Yes!!!
Thank you for this man!
They are the best. Good advice..
Thank you, teach
AJ super cool. The kids love him!
I'm def gonna try it now thanks dawg
Grabbing the coping feels so scary. But thank you for the great explanation
More AJ trick tips plz n thx
AJ Rips
Monster Crazy sick 💪💪💪
Yeah I’ve been putting off this trick for a while. Haven’t committed to going inverted and holding the coping… this video gives me feelings of confidence, though. I will give it another shot asap
cheers brutha
For you mom sake jajaj
THANKS BRO, I'M GOOFY TOO I'LL TRAIN THIS, I DONT KNOW WHY BUT MY TROUBLE IS PUT THE HAND AND STAY THE TRICK IN MY HAND IN COPING, I CAN'T DO THIS STEP, I THINK WHEN I CAN FREEZE IN THE AIR I WILL DO THE TRICK BECAUSE FOR RETURN IS MOST EASY PART FOR ME
So good🔥im gonna try it🫶
This is something I've been trying for a while but they're always pretty low on the ramp, maybe I just need to go for the coping.
There is a whole lot, i feel, that isn't being said about inverts. What is happening as you approach the coping? What is my first move i need to think about as i go up the transition? When i try on smaller ramps below the coping i tend to do a arch/rainbow manoeuvre and not straight up and down. Is this wrong? I have so many questions about this trick !
What deck is that?
What wheels are you skating?
His pro model 59mm 101a's from Speedlab Wheels!
Who makes that deck?
Powell Peralta
Does anyone know the deck model he is using for this video?
It’s a Powell Peralta Hill Bulldog deck
@@megangifford6554 Thanks for replying so quickly!
I guess I'm a dinosaur because I never realized people stopped doing them. People did them all the time when I was a kid.
Inverts. Probably the only trick they did better 30 years ago. Blender, Mountain, Grosso, Hedges, Conroy, Jessee, Park, Hawk, etc.
Winkowski and Sandoval though
Jeff Phillips
Do you have to push off the coping with your arm to get back in
AJ has mentioned on sessions that as the ramp gets bigger you basically just fall back into it rather than pushing off.
