This is the sound of his voice I love the best. The rhythm and tempo I can't live without it!❤🎶🎯
Is that your wife up in the corner ? …… WhoooOo! 😩😩😂😂
His High voice is so adorable but when his voice deepened his voice was sexy
Elvis was always so polite and gracious. Great southern upbringing.
The tape is too fast. Fix your YT 'Gear Settings' speed to 0.75 and it's a whole lot better.
Thang U verrrr murrrch.
Thank you, that was a whole lot better!
I think the speed is a little fast on this recording.
Smart!
2024 i loved Anita Wood she was a strong woman & to much of a WOMAN for Elvis
This is a fake. Elvis doesn't even talk like this
No it’s not fake, this IS Elvis.
Elvis sounds soo young. Very handsome and polite.
I absolutely love young Elvis!!! The years in the 50s, to me, were Elvis' best years. Once he came out of the Army, he began making movies for a lot of years till he returned to performing. But 1954-1958, he was the BEST!!!!
A young Elvis Presley. He's ready to take the world by storm
As Elvis matured, his voice deepened. 💞
Hollywood had homogenized him by then. He was trying not to stutter & stammer too.
This particular upload is running way too fast... his voice is not as high as it sounds here. This interview has been available on CD for decades. God knows why this upload is running too fast, the pitch is way off.
That's Elvis on his tour of Florida. He had just done 2 or 3 shows in one day the day before this (August 6, 1956) in Lakeland. That's definitely him
Although I've been a fan 42 years and have never heard this before. Thanks for the upload
It's Elvis you all got to remember the taping and the sound is the 50's. So when you hear the intake of the 50's remember it's what they call a echo sound to it. Love his songs and him.
Great upload...really nice to hear such a young Elvis 💞🤟🏼
ELVIS ... 😍 magical!! 🥰💓💓He was half
way to 22y. August 1956. He was more mature than most his age. He was well on his way to🌟 He was heaven sent!👼❤️✝️♾️✌️❤️
The only decent reporter talking to Elvis at that time. He was very respectful but others weren't!
God bless the King
This was back when Elvis still had that southern accent . He always did have a southern accent....it just changed a little once he started living in Los Angeles and being around all of those movie stars. Not whole lot , but just once in awhile you could tell the difference. Like the word my or I..
I love all of these old interviews . I laughed when he woowed that man's wife . I bet she didn't mind it either . LOL...!! I would have loved to have lived back then and got to have went to his concerts . I'm glad I was alive before Elvis passed away. I was only 8 years old when he did pass away , but I always knew who he was and I have learned so much more about just from watching things like this on UA-cam and Facebook. Thank you for sharing this video.
Love this,,,love Elvis, great to hear an interview from such a young Elvis 😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great interview and so in the middle of historic Elvis. talks about Sullivan, Allen, Voone. great interveiwer too. Shows how the south right away embraced Elvis but not the liberal urban North. Elvis won.
Elvis accent is really not a Memphis accent it's more Mississippi... I live in Memphis and the accent is not that drawl in fact I rarely meet anyone with an accent like that
In 1956 the drawl was there in Memphis too., it has been watered down in the last 60 years. if you go down in Mississippi today it's watered down also.
@@warrendelay I used to live in Memphis, and my KY drawl quickly became a Memphis one. I still slide back into it sometimes, if I'm around southern folks. His is Mississippi plus Memphis, then indicates that a Speech Therapist worked with him a bit, for his diction in movies. He ALWAYS remembered to add the /g/ at the end of "--ing" words. SO SWEET!!
June Juanico, his fiancée, was with him on this tour. Her book is a treasure.
Kristen: It is so awesome that Elvis traveled around the state of Florida my home state I was born in. Another eerie connection is that he was there during the same month I was born in. This was his first time in Florida I believe. He returned in 1961 to film Follow That Dream.
Are u sure he wasn't there 9 months before you were born?
That's Elvis
I would have loved to have been around at that time!!! Such a sweet( and handsome) man. So talented and charismatic!!! What a star!!!
This recording is sped up considerably.
Wow re the rest topic, that in great part explains the drugs, we expect so much out of our performers.
It’s always nice to hear Elvis talk, but man! That interviewer was about as bland as they get. He gave up an opportunity to ask real questions in favor of talking cars and newspaper gossip.
A nice interview, I first heard it on the album Elvis, Scotty and Bill. Always wanted to know did Elvis meet Jerry Lewis. Love them both.
This has always been one of my favourite Elvis interviews. I notice that its been sped up slightly. It sounds a bit fast. I have it on CD and it's not as fast as this.
This does sound a bit weird, a bad recording?
Maybe he was just so young?

Doesn't sound like him. Even considering he was very young and the sound was bad.
