Elyscia was wonderful here! She slayed as she always did and stepped up to the plate. Loved the dynamics in her voice and her character. She has fantastic stage presence and the song choice was perfect for her. She won that for me easily. I was the most focused on her the whole time and her high notes was fantastic. So ear pleasing and soothing!
No hate to Reba but I neverrrrr would have advices Elyscia to have have chosen Team Reba 😭😭😭. She has SUCH a great voice. Reminds me of a young Brandi. I think a coach like John could’ve benefited her much more

Looking at Facebook and a bunch of blogs, majority of them anonymously picked Elyscia as the winner over Ashley. Elyscia even won in the app as well. I bet you if Blake was still a coach, he would have picked Elyscia as the winner and sent Ashley home. Even Gwen would have picked Elyscia as the winner of the battle. Song choice was also right in Elyscia's wheelhouse and way out of Ashley's wheelhouse. I thought Elyscia also showed more character and stage presence as well. Knowing Reba, she is 100% picking Josh as the winner over Ashley in the knockouts since that is the confirmed pairing we saw. Josh is the biggest threat to win right now especially with the main Demographic that votes for country males.

Reba probably thought, I gave them a Beyoncé song, which already would put Elyscia ahead and she crushed it, and 3 people turned for the blind. I'm not saying Ashley ain't good but Elyscia shined through vocally, emotionally, her carriage and otherwise, even the other coaches testified to it but Reba chose to be so unjust. As a coach, if you can't really manage a contestant better along in the show probably due to their genre, then don't pick them and be partial to them at the long run, it's heartbreaking. Both were really good, but singing baritone I tend to lean towards lower vocals like Elyscia's. I thought she was amazing and her runs were really good also.

I think this was such a smart song choice since both Reba and Beyoncé have covered this song. They both really captured the vibe and passion of the song. Ashley was shaky in the beginning but Elyscia was absolutely perfect. I’m really upset that she wasn’t picked but I know Ashley is a great representative for country. I actually love ashley on this one. They were both struggling with the low notes, and obviously Elyscia is a better vocalist but Ashley's high notes were more stable and her vibes just fit the song a lot better for this battle. Musics aren't supposed to just sound good but also touch people's heart. I think Ashley did that. I kind of wish to see Elyscia more tho...She would've done a lot better with other songs, especially new ones.
I honestly cant with reba's choices anymore since last season. Always choosing the country singers over those of different genres who are clearly more deserving. Elycia is SO talented and outshined Ashley in every way, yet she still of course chose the country singer. This feels so unfair

i much prefer Elyscia's creativity with her choices and how rounded her tone is, but I can see how Ashley won this battle, since you can tell her belts on the chorus hit such a sweet spot in her voice. She sounded strong and resonant, and power is probably something they could hear better in the room than on the audio here.
Reba knows Ashley value. Ashley is solid & a powerhouse. Also a natural performer. This girl is a country star who just needs mentoring from somebody that can get her there.
Wow Elyscia was awesome! I loved her in this battle. Perfect song choice for her and she crushed this easily and mopped the floor with it. She ate Ashley alive by a large margin and won that for me. I didn't like Ashley on the song and thought her high note was pitchy and really harsh on the ears. Elyscia's high notes was on point and was ear pleasing like hot cocoa.
Ashley was good but her high notes were too harsh. She sounds like a screamer while Elyscia's high notes sounded more ear pleasing and softer. Elyscia crushed that and ate down. She mopped the floor and I loved her high notes. She showed more character and versatility as well which is really important to the competition. She won that battle hands down for me. If Blake were there, he would have sent Ashley home. And Facebook Grandmas right now are all calling Ashley a screamer in the comments.
I would have picked Elyscia because she delivered the lyric more authentically and sincerely, and Ashley had that wobble at the start. However Ashley's peaks in the song were higher. Her voice is resonant and cuts through the arrangement better than Elyscia's. She nailed the higher register.

I think this was such a smart song choice since both Reba and Beyoncé have covered this song. They both really captured the vibe and passion of the song. Ashley was shaky in the beginning but Elyscia was absolutely perfect. I’m really upset that she wasn’t picked but I know Ashley is a great representative for country. I hope Elyscia comes back with that super save thing🤞🤞🤞

I actually love ashley on this one. They were both struggling with the low notes, and obviously Elyscia is a better vocalist but Ashley's high notes were more stable and her vibes just fit the song a lot better for this battle. Musics aren't supposed to just sound good but also touch people's heart. I think Ashley did that. I kind of wish to see Elyscia more tho...She would've done a lot better with other songs, especially new ones.
I honestly cant with reba's choices anymore since last season. Always choosing the country singers over those of different genres who are clearly more deserving. Elycia is SO talented and outshined Ashley in every way, yet she still of course chose the country singer. This feels so unfair

i much prefer Elyscia's creativity with her choices and how rounded her tone is, but I can see how Ashley won this battle, since you can tell her belts on the chorus hit such a sweet spot in her voice. She sounded strong and resonant, and power is probably something they could hear better in the room than on the audio here.

Reba knows Ashley value. Ashley is solid & a powerhouse. Also a natural performer. This girl is a country star who just needs mentoring from somebody that can get her there.
Wow Elyscia was awesome! I loved her in this battle. Perfect song choice for her and she crushed this easily and mopped the floor with it. She ate Ashley alive by a large margin and won that for me. I didn't like Ashley on the song and thought her high note was pitchy and really harsh on the ears. Elyscia's high notes was on point and was ear pleasing like hot cocoa.

Ashley was good but her high notes were too harsh. She sounds like a screamer while Elyscia's high notes sounded more ear pleasing and softer. Elyscia crushed that and ate down. She mopped the floor and I loved her high notes. She showed more character and versatility as well which is really important to the competition. She won that battle hands down for me. If Blake were there, he would have sent Ashley home. And Facebook Grandmas right now are all calling Ashley a screamer in the comments.

I would have picked Elyscia because she delivered the lyric more authentically and sincerely, and Ashley had that wobble at the start. However Ashley's peaks in the song were higher. Her voice is resonant and cuts through the arrangement better than Elyscia's. She nailed the higher register.

This is what irritates me about this show the let a lot of good singers go home. John irritates me the most. He doesn’t know what he is talking about because most of his music sounds the same to me. This girl did not deserve to go home. I was watching because I was excited to see what she does next.

Really? I didn't get brandy at all. Their tone alone is so different. Only thing that's like brandy is she a black girl with braids. Don't get me wrong, i love Elycia's voice but didn't hear brandy in it.
