Yes, the original 2-axle was originally a Faun Dump Truck, but the original copyright ran out, so Matchbox retooled it without the Faun nameplates and renamed it multiple times thinking that no-one would notice. They did the same thing with a Chevrolet Snowplow from back in the day, retooling it without the Chevy Bowtie Emblem when the original copyright ran out and renaming it multiple times. I recently acquired the plow in its latest tooling, and have had the Faun Dump Truck with its badging as released in 1998's Scrapyard 5-Pack for several years, now (as well as a more current tooling without the nameplates and with a plastic bed for about 3 or 4 years or so), but I would definitely like the original tooling of each one for the collection (the original England casting of the Faun Dump Truck was significantly different from even the tooling as it appeared in 1998) :-)
I think the original dump truck is a Faun, so it is a real vehicle. Another childhood favourite of mine and I still have it!
