i never really got into the slice and dice vids. i found it interesting that you said wildfrost trends towards boring/repetative strategies and runs. i agree.
as to why i enjoy it more, i'm 90% sure it's just because you can read the fucking cards at anytime if you don't know what's going on. slice and dice info only appears if you hover over it. though just learning the game will fix this. isaac has a similar problem and i've enjoyed videos on that game forever.
back to binging into the breach :)

yeah slice and dice is fairly intuitive as to what the dice do but there are like 400 items to learn interactions for which is daunting

What I’m finding is that the highest difficulty is not that fun to play. I just have so much more fun on 10 bells. it opens up so much more variety in the game space
