Best tutorial! I managed to tack (taxiing for the first day) just after watching it. Before I found no other tutorial on tacking so clear, simple and comprehensive. Thanks guys!!!

Once more, an excellent tutorial! No other channel comes close in terms of breaking down the maneuver in easy steps, making it easier to practice, also showing what happens when you get it wrong, etc. Absolutely love your movies!

I agree, you have by far the best tutorials online. Great angles and video quality, slowed down at the right times, you show enough mistakes so everybody gets something out of the videos, clear explanation. 100% the best!

Absolutely the best tutorials ever on YT. This has an academic, methodical approach to teaching the sport I never saw anywhere else, and there a zillions of self proclaimed teachers out there but they cannot describe the stuff with such precision. This is pure gold. Not to mention the quality of the footage and examples... World-class stuff. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much Olivier. I did instruct kiting and foiling for 15 years before starting this channel and before that I was a physics teacher, which all helps inform these videos.

I learned this last year, on that day I tried over 20 or 30 times, maybe even 40. It was quite workout falling and getting up.
One good point I took from this was riding comfortably toe side and carving up wind. I managed that with old wing but now riding smaller wing and am not that comfortable riding toe sided just yet. The other issue is where I wing, the water is choppy.

That spot - Is it Witsand?

Thanks Enrique, I really try to make the clearest tutorial with the simplest and safest advice. Yes my videos are mostly shot on the Breede river near witsand, with a few shots at langebaan and milnerton aquatic club. My home spot is Noordhoek beach but the waves are too big to get close up footage.

Hello Victor, the volume is 125L, length 6'7 (my weight is 90kg). This board is a sky SUP which is a paddle board for paddle surfing rather than a wing-foiling specific board. The wing foil specific boards are shorter and fatter for the same volume, for example the 125L sky wing board is 5'8. This makes the wing specific board feel lighter to turn.
