Wow, it's like your entire life was all preordained for you to make this kick-ass video, only to realize had you not spent that extra $700 on the lift kit, you could have afforded the actual licensed version of Power Director😂
Seriously though man, you have a real talent for off-roading and making videos. I hope you don't stop doing either. This inspires me to juice up our old soccer dad's 2007 Outlander and go mad Max with it. Awesome work brother!👍

Cheers mate for the good video. I have 2008 outlander and i plan on putting bigger tyres. it currently has stock 215/70R16
I wanted to put 225/70R16 or do you think it's better to do 215-75R16?
I'm interested in getting more clearance and also bigger sidewall so i can air down during offroad conditions.

I am curious...have you made any modifications to fit 255/55/18 tyres? I'm running now on Mad springs with Bilstein shocks and i have gained 3.5 cm lift and i want to know if tyres so wide need adjustments.

I understand advantages of lifting with 7 cm. Which are disadvantages? On highway or when turning. What about consumption?

Your outlander is NICE! I also have a 2009, and I am currently looking for some lifting springs as well... Only ones I've found are for a 2012 model (the next one)... So, I was wondering id they fit the 2009 as well... and if not, what springs did you buy? Thanks a lot!

      Thank you.
The Springs for the front should be the same.
For the rear you have to check if the shock absorber is inside or outside the spring.

After installing the kift kit no problem but after puting the heavy duty spring inhave the drive shafts at rear touching the swau bar on off road conditions.

Whats going on with your front axle driveshafts. Above 4cm the angle is too big. Do you have vibrations or you performed a frame drop. Also the rear shocks are they stock or do you use extenders because with that lift they will be seriously overextended and every bump will feel terrible. How do you perform rear wheel alignment when the stock bolts cant afford such big alignment.Yes the off-road capability may be bigger with that lift but what about the overall daily drive feeling and parts wear/ uneven tyres wear etc?

    • @outlander4ever241

I ve never had any issue with the front or rear driveshafts and it s been more than 4 years and thousands of kilometers across europe and Morocco.😉

Curious how long will the car last as it is not body on frame and if springs itself cause lift, then shocks are not working and all the hits go straight into the body.
