He couldn't control himself, "Thats what she said" 🤣🤣
I was having a hard time to understand this difference, but you made it extremely clear. Thank you man!!
your videos are interesting by using the changing tone. great job
Glad you think so! thanks Kay

what are the examples of applications doing layer 4 load balancing?
Hey Hussein and viewers, quick thought, if the layer 4 load balancers were compromised and the attackers redirect the request to their servers would they be able to respond with something potentially malicious to the client?
Nice Tutorial Hussein but I believe when L4 load balancer is not inspecting the packet and content it seems to me less secure because it is not able to determine whether packet is legitimate or from a hacker. With L7 load balancer this inspection is actually giving an extra layer of protection off course if it is designed with proper logic.
Very informative videos.
I'm a network engineer and enjoy just watching them to learn more about what I do.
informational video with diagrams
if its based on IP shouldnt it be called a layer 3 load balancer?
Thanks Hussein !!
Thanks man !
Really nice video man!
I don't think Layer 4 load balancers are more secure. If one of those got compromised, instead of peaking at your data, they could send your connections somewhere else. You're not better, you're just screwed in a different way...
ujemvi thanks!! hmm lets think about it.. if a layer 4 proxy is compromised they can send my packets somewhere else but that destination need to have my keys in order to decrypt the traffic which they don’t. And if they faked it By serving their own cert The client can found out its no longer talking to the original server.
So not sure how they can be compromised .. unless there might be something else we are missing
Keep discussions coming! These are awesome
@@hnasr You got me there

@@hnasr So Hussein what if they send your packets to their layer 4 load balancer which does not need to decrypt the key?. Pls correct me if I am missing something
@@bashirsuleiman3748 you would still need the keys && CERTIFICATE though?
Is layer 4 Load balancer same as hardware load balancer?
Great video brother . Love from India
