Then, the driver clicks that the order has been picked up and their screen goes to the turn by turn directions to the customer's home. Meaty Mama just cuts the directions out of her videos.

No weirder than me delivering all day and coming home to watch Meaty Mama deliver! I just started doing it and Mama is the only driver I've seen that doesn't sugar coat what it's really like. Other channels have people claiming they're consistently making $1500/week or $35/hour.

An idea I had for your go pro is like the little Velcro stick dots maybe one on the dash and one on the bottom of the go pro might help a little bit. I’m a single mom to and I applaud you for going out there and side gigging and doing what you need to do for your kiddos. 🥰 my daughter has also been in and out of the hospital and door dash and Uber have been a life saver. Even today we just got discharged and she zonked out in the back and I got 4 orders done while she was asleep.

You know, as a future video, I would love it if you could explain the order screen for such information about multiple orders and .‘delayed’ orders on both UE and DD please. I was a flight attendant for three decades and retired early in 2020 due to covid, and many hotels did not allow delivery people to go past the lobby even if I called the front desk and asked for them to allow delivery person to bring it to my room. This was the case even when pizza was the only food delivery option. They always claimed it was a safety issue. Drove me insane, but i ended up ordering room service because of it.

Sometimes storage gets low on your phone. When that happens, it messes up the apps. Also when you go by a Mc Donald's it sometimes pulls you offline, it wants you to connect to their wifi...so annoying.
I live in California and I just ordered from Door dash...it was from a Hamburger place...1/4 burger .fries and a medium drink was $29...there was a $8 fee that was discounted because I had a credit...
I wish for more details too. I got a 1 star and I think it's because of a McDonald's order ... hot cakes and Pepsi. I'm sure the low rating because the hot cakes were cold. What do people expect when they live 7.5 miles away from pickup, duh?

Earlier I ate at Taco Bell...I bought two bean burritos and two taco supreme and a large drink was $15.50....I noticed price went up $3 per order...this is not a door dash delivery...I was just showing you prices in California...
If people remove stars from you, it has to ne because the restaurant didn't put everything in their orders...but the bags are usually sealed when you pick them up. So, there's no way for you to confirm everything is correct with the order.

I had Door Dash tell me I missed an order twice this week. Once when I was already paused and once when I had ended the Dash about 20 minutes before. Earlier this week I paused and it pushed a bad order through. As soon as I declined it went to pause. I have no idea what’s going on with it lately 🙄
I try to refresh the DD app after every delivery and every couple of declines, it's cut down a LOT of the issues. I only freeze up now if I go to long without refreshing it. I got the idea from support after dealing with an order issue.
Props on all those alcohol deliveries....i never do those because the dumb app always messes up when I do them! I went out for 4 hours and made $90 tonight was a goodnight after a bad week
Hey, A lot of times when my apps act wonky, either the app needs to be updated or my phone needs to be restarted. But I also have a 3 year old phone so that could be it lol...
Each time I receive notice that you've posted, no matter what mood I am in at the moment, I instantly become happy. Even though my husband receives notification, I still text him to be sure he is aware.

I find that when I deliver any pizza the car just starts to smell like wet cardboard. It's in the pizza bag but I just smell that the whole time. Does that make sense? Lol
Alcohol requires an ID scan upon delivery. Sometimes a signature as well. If the customer isn't there or doesn't produce proper ID it has to go back to the store. I rarely take those orders.
I have a question for you or other lady doordashers when you go shopping to the stores, what about the big cases of water that people order? How do you guys handle that? Especially if they're in apartments?.

Yes I drive Uber Lyft and it’s fun watching the deliveries and hearing the Uber ring tone it’s the same as regular driving

Grab some of that rubber shelf liner from the Dollar Tree and cut a strip to lay on your dashboard for GoPro. It should help keep it from sliding.

Low ratings on DD go away after 100 up votes. On UBs they stay for months. People are jerks, sadly you can't please everyone all the time.
