      I’ve just been trying to figure out how I give things to Christ. So much has been changed not because of my own willpower, but because of the power of the Lord. Sometimes I struggle with this, but continually, I have been pointed towards a conclusion that if I sacrificed everything I have, then Christ would be sufficient for me.

    For those who lack discipline or find it difficult to be consistent with this list it’s OKAY, start small. Its very challenging to change your regular routine and unhealthy habits. Start small, slowly drop your bad habits, for example limiting your social media use rather than completely cutting it out, cause you’re more than likely to reinstall it again. Start small, its okay to relapse but whats important is refocusing on the larger goal ahead when you do relapse

      This is very very true. I used to be on social media like Facebook a lot a lot. I deleted it but didn't work. The next step was to slowly stop myself from using it until I became comfortable without checking up on it all the time and now I don't even think twice about it. Sometimes it's a slow process that helps as opposed to going cold turkey.

    Around 20 years old, I started getting really bored of gaming. Like you said, they're designed to keep you hooked, but it also never became fun for me again once I realized how much of a waste it is. I've been on and off gaming for the past few years but now I'm ready to quit it completely so it's not even a thought.
    Gaming, as well as drugs, porn, social media, etc...is like the Matrix. Designed to keep you trapped and prevent you from unlocking the full potential of your masculine energy. Once I realized these things and started working towards monk mode, life became better.

      @DrFudge-ky5ub 2 роки тому

      @@takeoff.h92 That is good. But remember that we should give things to Christ, and allow Him to work through us and change us, rather than trying to change things through our own wisdom or willpower. It is good to always rely on the wisdom of God as our foundation, submit to His will, and by putting our trust in Him allow Him to change us. “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.” ‭‭(1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:16-18,‬ ‭NASB2020‬). This verse instructs us to pray without ceasing, and that is how we should be; in constant, daily prayer, that does not cease or stop. There is no such thing as praying to the Lord too much, and there is no such thing as being in too much of a relationship with the Lord. If people begin to call you crazy for your faith, then this is a good thing, because your faith is so great that it shows in you visibly to others, and hopefully it may encourage them to come to Christ themselves. We are told that we will be mocked and hated for our faith, so we should not be surprised. I hope that anything said here, does not help you because of me, but because of the Lord. May the Lord bless you greatly, in Jesus name, Amen!

    Can't even describe to you all how good it feels to watch this video knowing I don't do anything on this list anymore. That I conquered them all after 3 years. I've become a much better person, but there is always room for more improvement. My biggest advice is to keep going even if you fail. But make a plan after you fail to prevent making the same mistakes over and over. Study yourself. This way you can get down to the root problem that is messing you up. And of course nothing is possible without God. Praying every day changed my life. Everything is possible through prayer. Don't take it for granted, and don't forget to stay loyal to God and keep your promises once your life starts to change for the better. It's easy to forget what God has done for you and give yourself credit which is WRONG. God bless everyone

    I think the most important thing here is momentum. If you force yourself to get up and take a shower every morning, it gets exponentially easier as you get into the swing of it. And the thing about praying, I’m not religious and never grew up in a religious household, but I think it’s a great practice and makes me feel better. So even if you’re like me, give it a shot. If it’s not for you, that’s fine, but it’s helped me.

    I'm honestly so glad to see so many women in the comments. This video doesn't just apply to men, even tho i think sometimes his word choice leans toward men. This is the most important method for anyone who needs to find God, find themselves, and build a life of happiness.

    I'm a woman and I deleted all my dating apps. I still get sad sometimes because I don't have a husband/ men in my life. But the dating apps weren't helping and I slowly lost interest in it. I noticed that meeting the person and getting to know them face to face is better than just looking at a picture and having guys who only want one thing. I don't get out much and I look young for my age so having a guy approach me seems unlikely but I'll have faith that the lord will bring miracles into my life. I'll wait until God brings that person to me.

    This is for MEN only. Quite rare to see a brother contributing to help other brothers get better at life. Still there are these women here trying to make it all about themselves. Can't we men have a 15 minute video on how we can improve our lives. Women already have many feminist channels which preach absolutely "no" hatred towards men and how men are not needed in their life. It sucks to see these women's comments. They could've just watched this video, but they had the urge to comment "I'm woman and this is for women too." When is isn't. Feminists will say this video is "sexist", "misogynistic" for trying to help improve lives of men.
    Anyway thank you brother for this amazing video. You are really helping the Brothers, Men, Boys, Fathers in the world with this MEN's self improvement guide.

    34 years old and I'm slowly integrating this into my life because I'm tired of the mediocrity bullshit that I see everyday in the mirror. I got loads of porn in my favorites but I haven't even clicked on it in a week (small steps right?) I left the church but I am spiritual. I do many "transitional points" before bed which is what I learned from my therapist. During that time, I either read or/and write. I still love my wine on weekends which is a struggle but I'm getting back to drumming, playing basketball, and roller skating (my 3 favorite hobbies). Slowly losing weight for my test in October. I'm on a broccoli, rice, and baked chicken diet. I eat out only on Fridays. No candy, I drink 1 can of pop a day but drink 1.5L-2L of water a day. I only watch sports and maybe a Twitch streamer. Starting to run and do my bodyweight workouts daily after working my 8-5. All about progress for me...
