    I bought one of the decoder tester boards. Unfortunately, I wasn't told that you also need the computer interface to make it all work!! Thanks for clearing that up.

      @@TheValleyLocal All of the decoders I have used, NCE, have a BLUE wire for the light-positive common. Where does that connect to the board? In your video, I didn't see a BLUE wire.

    Thanks for the clear description, but two items confuse me. First: Both ESU’s and your chart shows the common blue wire as +24V (U+ pox. Terminal) but you apparently did not connect it to the tester board. Is it unnecessary for testing the decoder or where would it be attached if it should be? Second: what is the green wire for that goes from the decoder to the AUX1 terminal? Thanks.

    ESU have many shortcomings! The major one is accepting that English is the international language and that Germany were correctly beaten in WW2! Not just by the UK but by all of the other english speaking nations! So Show greater support to UK Outline Models and also show support to every other manufacturers decoders? Including Zimo, who are Austrian for feck sake and thus feckin German anyway! :-(
