Awacs where there mid to late 80s, the Royal Observer Corps had their annual camp there. Blackbirds were there too, as the Americans were there. Loved seeing the Vulcan visit too. Great times.
I live 2 miles from the end of Westover's Runway 5 from where this C5 is from. They fly over my house low and slow. They are amazing. Before they replaced the TF 39 engines, my Great Danes and the coyotes in the woods behind my house would howl at them.

I have never been to RAF Waddington, but from the video, doesn't seem to be much security fencing for an active RAF base, with people so close to the airfield, looks like you can easily jump the hedge. Is there actual fencing?
Cobra Warrior was September 2019. The C5 was 6/3/2019, however in the RAF we never wrote dates like this as it is ambiguous and I don't know if it was 6 Mar 19 or 3 Jun 19.

Where I live in central Texas they fly up from San Antonio and do touch and go's at the airport on Ft Hood all the time.

I've been to many an air show at Waddington over the years but nothing can take the place of the Avro Vulcan XH558.
The sight and sound as it pulls up on full thrust.

Looks are extremely deceptive, cross that security fencing and you will definitely and incredibly rapidly wish you had not.....day or night
