No need to apologize for getting emotional at the 9/11 Memorial. I lived in the NY Metro in Jersey City across the Hudson from Manhattan, and they have pieces of the towers and a small memorial with victims' names at Liberty State Park. I cried too whenever I would go there.

I might add the same! I can't visit that area without crying. I lost three friends that day. Two that worked in the twin towers and another that was onboard American 11 headed to do a job in California. I date a current American Flight Attendant who has actually worked with Julia before. She knew and had worked with several of the F/As on Flight 11 as well as on Flight 77. I'm sorry I clicked past those parts, even today 20+ years later even watching videos upsets me! I will just say to echo your words, thank you for respecting that area!

Hi Julia. Thank you for this great video. I’m a first responder at DFW but I was born and raised in NYC. Thank you for visiting the 9/11 memorial. It means a lot to me. I was in the Air Force during that horrific event and was on duty at Frankfurt airport when this broke out. I had just been in NYC 3 weeks earlier and hung out with my friends at Rescue 3 in the Bronx. I told those guys that I was scheduled to return to to NY on September 13th in preparations to celebrate my birthday. We all agreed to hang out and party it up well. I would have never imagined that after that day and returning to Germany, that would be the last time that I saw those guys. It’s very surreal when I think about it and I miss my brothers at Rescue 3. For that matter, much love and respect to all of the first responders who paid the ultimate sacrifice along with the civilians who perished in this cowardly act. If you get a chance, go by the 9/11 memorial in Grapevine Texas. It commemorates that tragic day and has a special tribute to your brothers and sisters (cabin crew) who lost their lives with your company. They did a really great job building it and your company pays a strong tribute on every anniversary. Take care and hello to Eric and Luna.

I grew up in a suburb to the west of NYC in northern New Jersey and have lost count as to how many times I have visited the big apple.

Yeah, we had a fridge that didn't work as well. Of course sour milk in the coffee was the first time we noticed it. Now I really make sure that the fridge is working. That's a real bummer man.

We used to go their every year when i was a teenager to Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall for the Christmas Show and the Rockettes and Broadway show shows. I loved it. Seeing the names on the 911 Memorial and tears in your eyes made this 74 year old man cry too. Same as when I visited the Viet Nam War Memorial Wall. Sometimes we don't appreciate how lucky we are and each day we should give thanks for the blessings we do have and our families and friends.
Your new apt seems to be very nice with a dog wash station and gym and area to play with Luna.

I was 21 years old when 9-11 happened i had just become an EMT I remember as if it was yesterday still gets me every time i have been to the memorial twice if you have a chance to view the Memorials museum thats very heart breaking i will be honest it pulls at your emotions.

Any time I see or hear anything to do with 9/11 it makes me cry.I was working at the airport at the time on 9/11. We had planes landing that did not service our airport. All of us worked together and took care of all the the different airlines. The crews had no idea what was going on. They were told to land at the closest airport. It was such a terrifying, sad time.

Great vlog. Been to New York several times over the years. About a 2 & half hour drive from where I live in Pennsylvania. So sorry about all that great food being spoiled. The next time you go to NYC, make sure you skd time to go underneath the 9/11 memorial. THAT gave me an enormous perspective on "things." As for your hotel room size, I got ya beat. Several years ago I flew to London for a tour. After the tour I stayed at a different hotel just a few blocks from Paddington Station. When I opened the door to my room, I laughed cuz it was SO small! Picture a twin bed stuffed into a small closet with a 1 foot clearance between one side of the bed and the wall. Fortunately, I had my own bathroom and the room was clean and shiny. I would actually go back to this place. I'm not paying huge airfares to spend the day in a hotel room so something the size of a closet wasn't important. Everything outside the hotel is. Thanks for your postings.
