I think we was called out for blowing up very loud fireworks
He was caught manufacturing fireworks over the firecracker grain limits which I think counts as explosive manufacturing. So he is having legal issues and stopped uploading thats why. I bet the ATF is on his ass rn.

The pressure from the explosion is traveling upward, and the mud is also dampening the force exerted on the lock. You need a hard surface and something to hold the explosive directly to the latch.
That's exactly what I was going to say!! At least put it in between 2 rocks or bricks, something hard. Just wasted good fireworks on a failed experiment that could've been better. Until next time...

Reminds me of when I was a teenager in the 70's. I love firecrackers, I used to blow a lot of shit up. When I was a kid there was a Masterlock commercial where they shot a masterlock, it didn't open. Fun video.

its good that he doesnt have more subs, it has nothing to do with real fireworks and is just straight up stupid and dangerous, nearly everything of what he makes could kill you if it exploded somewhere around your head or other vital body parts and a lot of unexperienced unteached people and children try to replicate these illegal nearly high explosives and injure themselfs etc.

The lock will not break from a firecracker. The pressure isn’t concentrated so nothing happens.

U can get 100gram flash filled firecrackers for 5-10€. Its crazy, although, as a pyro, i love where i am from lol. What is the law there actually like, i know you guys can get small firecrackers legally but whats the regulations based on exploding them, can u explode them whenever and wherever or is it illegal in public places/ at late night.

You need stronger pressure casings. Flash powder loves to be confined. The best ones always have the fuse going into the side of the case halfway down its length. If you think about it, when lit in the middle it burns outward in 2 directions, liberating the exact same amount of energy in half the time, as opposed from burning from one end of the tube to the other.. Faster blast impulse, aka Brisance.
I think brisance applies to high explosives but maybe not flash powder-based salutes (firecrackers).
I just found this channel and when I went to the channel URL, uhm... I thought he died from a fire cracker... But no, as soon as I checked the "Community" page, I found out that he had just been going through leagle issues... Stay strong buddy, I hope and pray that you can keep doing what you love. I think the reason why the lock survived is because of the position
almost the entire explosion impact/force is escaped in the air and not focused on the lock + the ground also absorbs most of the damage. I’ve seen video about just the size of Toronto cracker blow up washing machines and safes into pieces

For anyone thinking about making their own or using these, please do your research extensively on how to do everything safely, like using paper materials (paper bowl, plastic spoons) to mix supplies to avoid static and what mixtures are impact sensitive and how to safely store supplies, and try to be responsible using such things, a good distance away from houses or people to not disturb anyone or not doing damage to property or people, these are what made them illegal to begin with and we don’t need them making supplies to make them illegal or harder to get for people that are responsible with them or have their license to do so. Also I wouldn’t tell anyone about it or sell to anyone or post about it and just enjoy them as far away from houses and people and obviously not doing damage to things if you want to enjoy them without getting in trouble. If you sell it will increase your chances of getting caught as word will spread and people could be irresponsible with them. Be safe & responsible, have fun & god bless.

I wonder if the greyish powder was all plug or some flash powder too, since if you compress flash at bigger than 10 grams you might end up blowing up the casing before all the flash ignites.. Try leaving 30% air in the tube for full combustion, its how the italian firecrackers are build as well :)

wouldn't putting the lock on top and putting the fuse through the middle of the lock do more damage because it would be getting the full force of the explosion and might even get a good shot of the lock being blasted up?

He got in big trouble because he was illegally making fireworks that were over the legal limit. Having an ATC would have avoided this, but you have to be 21 in order to get one. Basically; He’s not uploading because he got in big trouble for illegally manufacturing fireworks above the legal limit. Hopefully more pyros wont havee the same ending and be in trouble with the FBI and ATF like him

Well made video! I had not ever seen some of those fireworks and I am of Spanish origin, but very much an American and quite old... 76. I learned something from that about styles of fireworks. BTW... I think Master Lock should pay you for what turned out to be a testimonial to the quality and durability of their locks. Have you been approached by the company? They should see this video in my opinion. I have enjoyed pyrotechnics for all of my adult life. Most of my home made crackers don't do well when I use a fuse, because they tend to "flare out" through the fuse hole, but totally confined electrical ignitions work well. (ie. NO fuse hole) The problem is that my black powder is not fast (brisant) enough. I never-the-less love the process of experimentation and I thoroughly enjoyed your enthusiasm throughout your demonstrations. Well done Son! _OnlyAnthony

You need to tape the explosive to the lock so it’s power is forced into the lock to blow it up. Not force the explosives away from the lock so it uses its force to break through the steal.
