In Marilyn Monroe's day, nobody cared about whether or not she could act very well. It seemed like all they cared about is if she was in focus. But she could do everything: act, sing, dance, and show her true inner beauty. She really left her mark on us. Thank you! ❤️
Just such warmth in her voice. How can you not fall in love with her 💓
I feel bad for her because she wanted to have kids so bad but couldn’t
Not every note was her voice, she could sing but sometimes the song got a little bit dubbed.
It's amazing that this was her first time singing in a movie. What a talent! What a beauty!!
I love Marilyn singing. She was really talented
She died at the age I am right now. That blows my mind. What an icon.
Same as Princess Diana.
In these clips she seem so young but so poised and seemingly natural. Professional. Not trying too hard. This was definitely before Marilyn, the persona, took over.
I like her much better this way. She's young and innocent, but has learned smarts about life and men from her mother and fellow chorus girls.
The "persona" never "took over"; it was perceived by others that way. she was true to herself till the end.
She is much more beautifull, radiant, luxery and charming, then another girls. She was godes.
OMG YES The high light's Of the 19 centuries!! I love her
Queen created the daddy kink
Seeing this, it is no wonder Marilyn was such an icon. This was early in her career, and the charisma just radiates from her.
A pretty creepy first number to see nowadays. It is telling of the attitudes toward women, at the time.
The baby boom was well underway. All those returned soldiers and the women who raced down the aisle with them were procreating up a storm. I think the number was created with the baby boom in mind.
Who wrote it??? Why??? Which of them didn't want to see MM (just 21) and a chorus line of similarly aged women singing they "need Daddy w/ silver in his hair" (so a 20+ year age gap 🤮) "w/ gold to spare" that or the "hungry wolves" of the neighborhood who likely take w/ o asking. So choices - transactionally being slobbered over by an old man who buys you things in exchange for access to your fetishized youth/body or sexual assault by randos in the community 'cause you're female, young and God forbid attractive. Fantastic choices and so much autonomy. Infantilisation of women not problematic at all 🤮🤮🤮. "Girls" until they're "Hags" if they play the game. 2022 remains as messed up and patriarchal as ever but at least a dirty old man can be called out on it and dismissed and chances are those layered gold necklaces were bought by you or an age-appropriate dude in your life (if you're het-normative).
Marilyn is so charasmatic and physically beautiful
Just singing, she is terrifically wonderful! What a beautiful voice! She is a marvel! A true artist! She is pure grace and her face always radiates innocence. Her soul shines through her eyes, whence it may be seen the innocence and pure grace in her inside. God blessed her with an angel voice and many talents. And she gave them without reserve to the whole world. Would've she dedicated only to singing, for sure would've she won many Grammys. The Most Beautiful Woman Ever! Happy Birthday In Heaven Beloved Norma Jeane!
Yes She was truly blessed and beautiful!❤️
her movements are so graceful
It's such a shame that the studios type cast her and didn't give her a chance to show her full range of talents, including her wonderful singing. They didn't want her to sing, they wanted her to be a sex symbol, period. Marilyn studied voice with Ella Fitzgerald, and you can't do better than that. She and Ella Fitzgerald became good friends.
True! Marilyn helped get Ella's career started at the Mocambo
I studied about Ella and she was also a singer, it’s true they were both good friends and it’s sad they wanted her to be a sex symbol instead of a singer
She’s just so exquisite in every frame!
She was much better singer than today's singer's who use the auto tuner imagine those times singer's who didn't use the technology and Marilyn Monroe one of them she was absolutely gorgeous fantastic actress incredible singer the whole package in one lady I feel sad when I saw her world's lost best talented lady and angel face forever Rest in peace Norma Jean ❤️🥺
But she had a deep voice so another person did the high notes for her I think
@@fishwithbutter she had music teacher who trained her in singing
do u even know what auto tune is?
@@vcxyz. yes I know and did you
@@aasimshahzad9209 clearly you don’t.
Very so beautiful womanizer thank you beautiful movie classic 🌷
I can listen and watch this all day
She's amazing
This is the greatest performance of hers
It was cold outside of Tiffany's, I was shivering in the storm.
I walked in and asked a gentleman "could I please keep warm?".
He asked me how come a baby doll have no comfy place to go,
so I told that kindly gentleman my tale of ward.
Every baby needs a da-da-daddy to keep her worry-free.
Every baby needs a da-da-daddy, but where's one for me?
I'd sure purr, I don't care who.
If he hasn't got a million then a half will do.
Every baby needs a da-da-daddy.Could my da-daddy be you?
Every baby needs a da-da-daddy with silver in his hair.
Every baby needs a da-da-daddy who has some gold to spare.
Some sweet daddy who enjoys
bringing home to baby little diamond toys.
Every baby needs a da-da-daddy.Could my daddy be you?
Every baby needs a da-da-daddy in case she runs her ground.
Every baby needs a da-da-daddy to keep her safe and sound.
Every baby needs a da-da-daddy,could my daddy be you?
They knew she wasn't a trained dancer, so they made her choreography large movements using her whole body.
Her voice was very beautiful 💚, it is never be appreciated😡
All of 21 when this was shot and ready for the world.
Aww my girl Marilyn monroe
I wish this would get a proper DVD or Bluray release
There has been a DVD release of this film by Columbia. You can find it on Amazon, I guess.
No other MM. She was one of a kind.
Those lil dolls killed the whole mood tbh...
Me too. As a doll collector, it was creative to see them dancing along to the music.
@Andrea Carol Taylor huh I thought I was the only one who liked them too.
Ooooooohhh (trembles). She is soooo Beautiful!!! Please Be in Heaven Norma Jean Baker!! I love you so much!!!
Norma Jean- just the best!

GODDESS ALERT.. BABY JEAN FLUNG OUT OF SPACE❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🌹🙏
She was outstanding. I guess she already worked together with Natascha during this movie. If I remember well, she was in love with her vocal coach who taught her singeng during that time.
Ulrich was referring to Fred Karger, who was Marilyn's singing coach on this movie. She was deeply in love with him, and devastated when he ultimately rejected her. She adored his family, always looking for a family of her own, and remained friendly with Fred's mother for years after the breakup. He eventually married Jane Wyman, Ronald Reagan's ex.
@Be. Wise natasha and marilyn had a relationship (romantic)
@@belladonna5904 I thought Marilyn being bisexual was a rumor?
Baby killing shit. My Angel. My Queen. My Marilyn. I love you.

Шикарное выступление. В моей душе затронуло струны эстетики и шика
Love this
Sad song knowing she was an orphan. Hollywood cruel.
the song doesnt refer to a daddy in the sense of father ...
the mystery of marilyn brought me here
very progressive for 49 😂
Oh, that was cool one!

Una forza della natura !!! 💗
Beauty)))))) 😍
Oooo I have this movie
Deliziosa...grande attrice
The rich or poor part 💗
Мэрилин! Ты в наших сердцах навсегда!
*anybody noticed her nose looked different back then? and even her voice wasn't that soft and breathy..*
this was before she had a rhinoplasty surgery which was paid by her agent johnyy hyde
she had two surgeries her nose change and her facial shape change.
Sometimes I want to believe that she didnt do it, because a Lot of times you look at her and its the same shape
It was a minor surgery. It's not like she had a huge nose to begin with. It was the fact that Hollywood had such exacting standards for women that Marilyn felt she had to have the tip of her nose refined and her chin enhanced in order for the studios to consider her as having potential. She was let go from Columbia after this film even though she shows a lot of talent and potential. Hollywood was and is brutal.
I see no radical difference with her nose or rest of her face. She was naturally very pretty. Obviously her voice is her natural voice before the breathy voice became a trademark. Listen to audio interviews near the end of her life and you will hear her speaking in her natural voice.
I love you
Muy linda
Dios te bendiga donde estés Marilyn .
it’s cool
Мерилин Монро Божественна🙏🏽💔

Kinda don’t know why people think the baby doll sequence is creepy? It’s bizarre, but it’s not that gross. It was obviously meant to show off their cleavage then legs, all while pushing the idea of partnership (heavy implications of sugar daddy/sugar baby lmao). I think I’ve just seen worse, though.
Bella I would prefer not to see Chuckyesque dolls unexpectedly..
Trying to make her Rita Hayworth here clearly. Her star persona had not been perfected yet

What happened America ?
Luster blanks ladies choruis gorgeous
The first song sounds like her voice but the second one doesn't.
It’s because this was before the Marilyn persona.
Whose the gentleman to the right ? Of the three men sitting ?
At 2:00 who is the chorus girl 3rd from the left (blonde hair) I think she is also attractive, what other films has she been in? Whats the actress' name?

Can someone tell me what happened please?
Marni Nixon's voice is just pure gold
Oh, really? Marni Nixon dubbed her singing?
@@2degucitas No
@@Ay-2077 Yeah, I actually researched it for about 2 hours after seeing this comment. Marni did dub very high soprano parts in the Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend song. Marilyn is tapping the men with a fan saying "no!". The rest is all MM
@@2degucitas She occasionally filled in for Marilyn on high notes but Marilyn is singing here. Marilyn rarely gets enough credit for her singing. Marni Nixon dubbed or ghost sang for quite a few actresses in the 50s.

hot))))))
She did have a wonderful voice, but Im not 100% convinced this is it. She sounded very different later in her career. This sounds a lot like Doris Day.
This is Marilyn singing. Marilyn changed her tone to make her voice sound sexier when she became popular. This is Marilyn when she was just starting out.
@@TheSensationalOne wowww she has the perfect classic movie voice, I don't know why she wasn't cast in more singing roles
😍😘❤
