Thank you needed to see this
cheers 👍
Great channel even though it is a older video. You still replied so I will sub for this reason. Great video by the way
Cheers, glad you enjoy the content on the channel 👍
Yeah.
This is sooo good
Glad it was useful 👍
So basically nordic hamstring curl is also great for muscle velocity contraction, because it reduces angle of pennation?Does this stand for all eccentirc exercises?
Correct. Probably similar for other eccentrically overloading exercises too 👍
@@FlowHighPerformance1 nice, thanks
I just wanna know if it will make my legs grow or not. I just don't like that fact that my legs are strong but don't look that strong.
Better off doing traditional hypertrophy training for muscle growth 👍
I just wanna know if it will make me jump higher please.
Probably not
Good vid. "Eccentric" is pronounced "ek-sentric" btw.
I've always known it as 'ee-sentric', but a few people have mentioned they pronounce it as 'ek-sentric' 👍
Does it make you run faster?
It may have slight benefits for sprint performance but nothing major. Mainly for injury prevention 👍
@@FlowHighPerformance1 Which muscles minus the quads are best for sprint speed given you only can choose like very few things to focus on?
Max effort sprints and plyometrics are best for sprint performance. The exact muscle you train is less important 👍
hamstring injuries occur during ground contact not in the air
From what I've seen, most seem to occur in the late swing phase of sprinting, just before ground contact 👍
@Flow High Performance so it would be where the foot was before it lifts. Poor landing and then lifting injuring it.
Like a jujitsu ankle lock, Supinate, external rotate with hamstring flexion... then hamstring extension ( while supinated and externally rotated. ) poor landing = tear
Nope. Swing phase, not ground contact.
Edit
