Man... My ex passed away in a car accident this past weekend. Listening to this just breaks me up. I loved her more than I can put into words and she was just taken from me. We weren't dating, but we were still best friends. So glad I found this cover. It's almost as beautiful as she was.

I love how much emotion Max always puts into every song he sings. You can just see the pain he feels as he's singing.. And he does it with every cover. Brilliantly done, as always.

Same situation as you. Hate to be a downer, but the most painful part is hanging on to that hope that she'll return your love... and honestly life's not fairytale. Songs like these are like drugs... so addicting, but just gives temporary relief. Hang on though and maybe it'll work for you :)

love will always have two sides: the happy side and the sad side. Both will devellop equally but you will only feel one at a time. when you miss someone that is the sad side, when someone leaves you you feel the sad side. then the happy side is that part of you where you keep the good memories.
Wow this was beautiful. I never realized the words of this song until Max gave it so much more meaning. He's clearly thinking of someone specific and I love that he uses personal experiences when he sings. I can feel the emotion. 2:28. Ugh. Chills.

Max always puts so much emotion through all of his covers and I can feel it through a video. That says a lot. He is not only an amazing singer but also is very good at communicating his emotions through the music. And to Kurt, his piano playing is outstanding. It's flowy and just beautiful. Props to you both.
Max put so much feeling into the song- his voice, facial expressions, and mostly his eyes. they looked like they were hurting so bad. and Kurt also played the piano with so much emotion, it was beautiful. amazing finish- with tacos!
That first "not over you" at the end of the last chorus when he voice cracks in a way youre about to cry... not going to lie i felt some emotion there

I just went through a really bad breakup, and when she screamed at me and hit me and shoved me I saw her tears as she went out the door with her things. I was so hurt when she left, I couldn't find the words to say and I just stood in my living room staring at the door. The past few days have been rough and this song really hit my heart strings.. The way he sung this was so beautiful and put life to it that made me remember everything I should be feeling instead of just empty. I thank you guys.
