This reminds me of last years Corn Silage. The loader we had at the farm in the pit made a bunch of cracking noises. Guy drives out of the pit to see whats up while me and my dad are trying to help find the issue with him. dont find anything but we hear it grinding a lil as he moves.
Suddenly there were a few loud bangs and the thing was dead, wouldnt go forwards or backwards and he blocks all the pits.
What happened was that the rear dif decided it didnt wanna live anymore and locked up the rear axle in its suicide. They had to disconnect the driveshaft to the front axle and had a second bigger loader and a flat bed come in. we pilled a bunch of weights in the bucket of the broken down loader and lifted the rear with the good one to pull it to the side so we could continue with the harvest.
eventually they pulled it on the flatbed while we finished at around 2am.
One long day of harvest that was.
