Wow, your tips for cleaning the xToolF1 are fantastic! I wish I had come across your video before I got rid of my laser cap! I'll make sure to clean it more regularly now. Thanks for emphasizing the importance of removing the baseplate before moving the F1. Your videos are always so informative, and I love your sense of humor!

Great job with the description on cleaning. Have you come up with a good way to store the F1 and purifier when you are taking it with you to shows?

I haven’t narrowed it down yet, but I have a small event in the spring, and once I figure out what’s best for me, I’ll more than likely make a video on it!

@@industrialfringe953 I have been looking at a lot of options and one I keep returning to is the Milwaukee pack out system with some foam egg crates to cushion the units. Then with some of the other stackable options I can keep my cords and vent tube. Then also items like slate coasters and odds and ends.

My question is, is there any need to remove the large lens, (which I think is just plain glass, to keep the dust off the actual optics inside), or does it keep those optics clean? Now, a comment. Be careful blowing fans while they are connected. Many types can act as generators, and although the voltage/current that is produced is miniscule, it can damage sensitive components. I spent 30 years working on coin-op machines, (read: video games, jukeboxes, etc.), and it was always considered best practice to unplug the fan leads before blowing them out, or blocking the blades from spinning with a thin screwdriver or similar tool. Many a service bulletin, from many a manufacturer, advised this! Probably overkill, but easy enough. I didn't get my F1 for free! Thanks for the vids
