Polymer clay is defintly a challenge. I have only been working with for a few weeks. I choose it cause I am about to be disabled and need something to keep hands and mind busy. I have been busy working on my own molds, cupcake, waffle cone and so on. Research had lead me to all parts of the internet. I am subscribed to your and many more channels. I like to see how close someone can come to the real thing. I have seen many youtubers do a really good job at making realistic food items. Keep up the good work.
An easier way to make wrappers/liners is to add a little less clay to the mold. Then, use a large ball tool or even a paintbrush end to push the clay up the sides. It makes thinner edges and leaves the space in the middle. That way you can easily adjust the size of the actual cupcake depending on how much space you want between it and the wrapper. Fun to see you try a different style. It came out great.
That's a really good idea, I've defo seen that in other tutorials! I clearly just wasn't thinking well when I filmed this and wanted to make everything super hard for myself haha
I am new to your channel. I really enjoyed your video, it was so easy to follow along to. I think you really did a great job. It looks almost edible like the real thing. (not that I eat clay or recommend it to anyone). Lastly, you are way to harsh on yourself, you are an amazing artist.
Does anybody have a tip on how to get the residual clay out of the clay extruder? Are usually just stick my finger down in there and try to dig out what I can and then use some other instrument to try to get the rest out. But it’s a bit time consuming and I’m not sure that I get it all out.

I saw your Facebook story and I've know it's hard to get round a blip, as a pointer because there's no soft background music when you're talking, when you pause it makes it feel a tad awkward. I've watched your videos for years and absolutely love them I just miss seeing some of your personality in the frame like a cute desk background that screams you or a mug or something off to the side. Keep your chin up you're working hard in life and things will pick up xx
I always forget the background music, realised too late and just couldn't face uploading again (it takes 6 hours on my awful wifi) definitely add it back in the future though! Thank you for the feedback! ❤️ Just a little disheartened but I love making videos so just gotta focus on that!

You probably already know this - but sometimes I add a bit of translucent to make it harder. 😊 Cute cupcake. 🥰

Do you bake it in the mould?
Yes a lot of the time I bake it in the mould, it's just a lot easier because I always drop the cupcake getting it out DOH!
How do you make it without the cupcake mold bec I don’t have it
