Thanks for comments everyone! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. It was fun playing with such a great band. They definitely helped make me me sound good. :) Haha.
Its so good to hear a good tune from a place I know of as my Dad Donald MacLennan was born there on the quarter section right south of the service station in 1896.
Portage La Prairie's finest hometown fiddlin' Buffalo Gal, Melissa St. Goddard,...she's gotta be thee best & purdiest female fiddle player there is around in the central plains area, if not Manitoba :) Backed up by Clint & Keith Dutiaume, the Dutiaume's, ya CAN'T go wrong there I must say. Yer' the best there Melissa! Keep them videos comin'! Yeehaw!!! 5 stars Melissa, 5 stars! :) You're #1 central plains fan! :)

..Hi.. Melissa Enjoy listening to your music. Very very nice. Myself and my brother started playing again after many years for me without touching the guitar. We open a you tube channel (Alyre Doiron) We play the old ways that we use to down the country. We kept it simple with mendolin and guitar. St Anne's Reel is one of my favorite and included it in our video. Hope you have a chance to visit and listen to a few of our ways of playing these old tunes. Comments is so much appreciated.
Wicked jam and an even better mullet. I'm not sure why this doesn't have more attention.
Good stuff. Like the chord progressions you use in St.Anne's Reel. Wicked
miigwech..(thank you)..for your posts. I like all the fiddle tunes you play, as I chord along with your tunes with a piano sound keyboard.
