it's called grieving the Holy Spirit and it is terrible how much of the church is totally ignorant of how important the Holy Spirit is to us especially as the fierceness of times are coming fast and furious. The body of Christ needs all the help that we can get and He alone can guide, teach and show us how to live in these very dangerous times.... He will not stay where He is wanted or honored.
I often have that same thought. However, I believe it’s a selfish wish to keep anyone on this earth that has served our Father God so faithfully such as Derek. Let’s Glorify Father God and Jesus for allowing such a faithful servant to teach and help guide us. Rest peacefully Derek!

If Jesus is the Father and the Trinity is true, then why would Jesus have to ask his Father for anything? Jesus also said the Father is greater than I. Also many other way, Jesus informed us that the Father is a different entity, but they work as one.
John 11:41-44: "So they removed the stone. Then Jesus raised His eyes, and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. I knew that You always hear Me; but because of the people standing around I said it, so that they may believe that You sent Me.”
They all are equal but carry different positions yes the Father is greater than Jesus because of the position he was in. Jesus came to earth as a man stripping himself from all the glory that he had to save mankind to point us back to the Father. Jesus is King but he was born in a manger he didn't grow up in a palace all things was stripped from him. When it came to Jesus assignment on earth he walked as a man with his disciples teaching in the synagogues healing the sick raising the dead. John 15 & 16 he told his disciples I'm going away but I'll serve u someone a helper which is the Holy Spirit right. Holy Spirit is part of the trinity they all are equal but different positions. Jesus said no one can come to the Father unless they go through me. This is why we are seated at the right hand of the Father because of Christ n what he did on the cross. That's why when we repent of our sins n it's covered by the blood of Jesus God says okay n remember no more because he remembered the position his son Jesus has done on the cross. Jesus blood is an atonement for our sin. The Holy Spirit is our helper, some version of the Bible says our advocate. He teaches us show us which way to take. Holy Spirit was left on earth because his position is to guide us in spirit and in truth. Psalms 21 says my help cometh from the Lord. Jesus point us to the Father the holy Spirit points us to Jesus to get to the Father and the Father come with open arms when we return home like the prodigal son ❤
