    I agree totally with you, on missing people that you keep up with on here....I was also looking for one of my subbies' updates (bet it's the same person as you!) and they had deleted everything, and like you, I felt a sense of sadness, and wondered what happened, and hoped she was ok...I think we get pseudo- 'attached' to people on here without even realizing it, and we do feel a little sad when they are gone, especially if it's someone we've frequently interacted with. For me it was more of a worried feeling, hoping everything was ok with her and her family, but you are right, it does make you think about the content of our videos, and making sure we are keeping ourselves and our families safe.

    I'm jelly too! I've been dreaming of a beach trip.... You will have fun walking there and nourishing your sweet self with H2O, enjoy your special family time. Allen is showing great progress and I am so proud of him. It's interesting to see who "notices" a difference in him at this time and who doesn't. Keep on posting. Your videos are awesome! See you soon...xo

    You're doing SO well! Congratulations and have fun at the beach! Some go to quick things I try to have on hand are eggs, shrimp and frozen meatballs (love the Trader Joe's Turkey meatballs). I also love cottage cheese and find the 4% has the least amount of carbs. Great job on your progress!

    Pat yourself on the back for feeding and taking care of your family while also trying to feed and take care of yourself. My 18 year old is living out of the house right now and my partner is only here 2-3 days a week because he lives out of town. I have the luxury of focusing mostly on me .... Taking care of everyone else is a job and a half ... plus working your sleeve! Amazing, Sheehan ... ! (I always feel that way about people who "leave" ... but I think sometimes it's hard for people to face others if they don't feel good about their journey)

    Food prepping is something I need to get better at also! Meatballs are a great thing to make up in batches and freeze and can microwave or crockpot well in a pinch. In the past 2 years, I have lost SO many youtube subscribers who were my "go to" people in this community so I totally get what you mean about people who drop off the youtube scene and especially delete all their old videos. I understand why some people do it, but I also wish more veterans out there would keep going. It's one of the reasons I love gastricRose so much! She is 11+ years out and still putting them out there for us! Very good thoughtful update! You are doing well and the fact that you are thinking about food-prepping shows that your head is in the game ;)

    I hear ya about people not posting anymore. This can get too personal sometimes. Who knows why people don't do videos any longer. Failure is on thing that could make them stop. I don't know. You are doing awesome! I so look forward to seeing you every Wednesday. We need to take a trip to DC to see you guys soon.

    It is always so nice to see your smiling face. Have fun at the beach. I understand what you are talking about with the videos and the people disappearing. It is said to never know what happened or why they are gone.

    I do food prep on Sunday's and have a special drawer in my fridge for all my small meals. Cut up veggies,chicken,
    Garbanzo beans. Quick things to throw together for snacks or a meal 🌹

    I also feel the same way when people stop and delete. It keeps you wondering if things are ok. I think I know who you are talking about and given her situation, I can understand the deletion. I think it's important to not make it so personal. I understand we're talking about day to day things but keeping things more specific to our surgery, diet and exercise is really what is helpful to other people. Just my 2 cents!

    I had two of my favorites stop making videos and deleted videos...I liked them so much that I had gone back and watched all their videos....It is like loosing a friend because it sees like you know them and they were so helpful in this process. I think their names were Melissa Collins and Alison. I sure miss them and hope they are doing okay.

    You are doing well. Still losing and that's great. Have fun at the beach. I plan on doing videos for as long as I can. For me, it's my way of being accountable. Maybe you are right and that they too much personal stuff on it. Hard to say and yes, it's sad when they are gone or don't make them anymore.

    I've had the same experience of going to check in on someone and finding them totally deleted. It's a little sad because so many people are such specific inspirations for me.

    • @sheehanvsg5354
      @sheehanvsg5354  9 років тому

      Agree! I totally respect that they feel like they need to leave but at the same time I am sad that I won't get to see them anymore.

      And while that's true, I wonder how healthy it is to delete that journey as if it never happened... as if you were always skinny and never struggled.. you know?

    I'm so sad when people stop posting. I have personally put out way too much personal information, but so far have only felt the need to remove one video. Sounds like you are doing great. Congratulations on all your hard work.
