Chikn came out as pansexual about a month ago, and yet despite that, Chikn doesn't often express attraction towards others, at least not sexual attraction.
Yeah, he says "I love you" to Chee on occasion, but clearly Chee only loves him as a friend...or at least, that's what it seems. And don't get me wrong, as Slushi and Chee discussed in an episode about their bisexuality, one needn't express themselves or express attraction constantly to be true to themselves.
That being said, however, I think the only character that Chikn has ever expressed attraction towards is Slushi (see 4:13), and yet as of yet, not only has Chikn not expressed that attraction too often outside of his wording in the fox noise episode, but we never see Slushi express feelings like that for Chikn.
I have a theory as to who Chikn could end up with, as it's been well established that he DOES want to have someone to love romantically, if not sexually, but at the same time, my theory is about a character who isn't even in the series yet: the nervous lil deer boy/Prototype Fwench Fwy

Kinda funny that Isscream was always a weird demon rabbit but it’s also clear that at first they didn’t consider that maybe that was a bit separate from species like cat and dog. So they’re included with the mortals at first just as a horrifying example of one.

@@JhopeOnthestreet 1. He's a rare example of a more consistent antagonistic character in the Chikn Nuggit roster, and has remained a consistent jerk without being (arguably) flanderized. I like characters like Cofi and Iscream, but Cofi was less entertaining and more oddly creepy at first, and Iscream has become less and less evil and more kinky, instead. Up until recently, Hawt Saus was simply a jerk, but a simple one at that.
2. I like his voice, both his regular high-pitched voice, and that one time his real voice came out of his mouth.
3. As a jerk, he's still insensitive, but I can feel that he developed into more of a prick over time after the first incident. There, he may not have apologized to Chee immediately, but Chikn still strangled him for what was essentially insult humor. I can understand him being harder on the heroes, because of how much he's undeservingly harmed for it: Fwench Fwy tortured him with bees when he told them to buzz off, while Iscream tries to scare the shit out of Hawt Saus for making the false assumption that Fwench and Iscream's relationship and identities follow traditional gender norms, for instance. I can't stand for him being a jerk, but I sympathize with him.
4. I can relate to him quite a bit. I am autistic, myself, and have a sensitivity to sudden touches and pain. I especially am not tolerant on nonconsensual touches or grabbing, as I experienced during my past summer camp, much like how Hawt Saus didn't want Chikn to touch him in his most recent appearance. Even more so, I can relate to his struggle with having friends that are all such weirdos, while he feels himself to be the only really sane individual. I, myself, have a tendency to feel that in many situations, and occasionally have difficulty controlling my anger in some situations, a bit like Hawt Saus.
5. I generally fell in love with his character by the time he came back in late 2022 and early 2023. Something about his snarkiness, while still being down to earth, is just entertaining to me. And like I said, a breath of fresh air in comparison to some of the more polarizing antagonistic characters. PLUS, I actually feel engrossed in his ongoing redemption arc.
6. External factor: ScoopOfButter's spot-on Hawt Saus impression helped with the hype surrounding his return.
