Ms. Hunter and Mr. Cane, as a Foundation Black American male who grew in poverty, my parents combined income was never over 50k in a year to a well earning professional earning over 50k a month. I have to respectfully say these scare tactics are not going to get black people to the polls. Enough is enough. There is too much information out there. As a high earning professional with an advanced degree, I still send tangibles back (a portion of my earnings) to up lift my parents and siblings who (working 60+ hours a week) just trying to survive poverty. These people are not pondering which candidate is more autocratic. They are wondering what these politicians are going to do to help them survive and which candidate is going to give them tangibles for their vote. That is how voting I give you my vote what are you giving me in return. Stop saying HOPE. All my family know the horrors of our country's past so these politicians can try to ban the information however the cat is out of the bag. When the Supreme Court was formed to protect rich people, landowners, and now big business. The only exception was the Earl Warren Era in the 1960's and that is because Mr. Warren grow up in poverty. These modern day politician grow up with money attending private schools or segregation academies they can not relate to poor black people. With the current knowledge I have attained, it is not surprising when the Supreme Court makes any decision in my humbled opinion. When the Supreme Court made their decision about Affirmative Action, I was slapped into reality, woke up, and realized everything in this country is about race. I wish sociologists and the mainstream media would please stop gaslighting us on this class nonsense. The government helps out poor farmers and the so called middle class (most of they people are white or non black). If the poor get some crumbs or trickle down these sleazy politicians grandstand saying see I am helping everyone. What I am surprised about is most people with a college degree know the solution to Black American's problems. I request you tell the truth (repair the original sin). I respect you but I classify you in the same category as some who wants to get paid and you don't get paid if there is solutions (See the Republicans with Roe decision, they are the dog that caught the car). Ms. Hunter you get paid with clicks or market share from Sirius for peddling fear. You may think you are helping black people, but you are not. Trust me, I am in the streets via my family. The streets are not listening to you or Biden or Trump. They are watching the idiot box or watching sports to numb their brains of their pligh and just trying to survive. They don't have time to watch political show or read poltical book. They wake up the next day to survive, rinse repeat. The Black community has survived slavery, Jim Crow, and Mass Incarceration. The Black community has survived Trump and Biden presidency terms. This country has tried to eliminate black people since they freed us from bondage. Read the history. We black people know how to survive harsh conditions it is them folk that self delete themselves if they lose their net worth. Many Black people where I was raised believe they never had democracy. You are seeing in real time in Chicago with the migrants being placed in Black areas but they migrants get tangibles like job fairs, phones and discounted housing. The migrants can save over 500 dollars a month and not have to worry about getting kicked off public assistance. The migrants have conflicts with law enforcement and not worry about becoming a felon or being beat up or shot or imprisoned on Disorderly conduct charges. Like Irish in 1850's and Italians 1900's those migrant will bestowed with whiteness and wonder what is up with these Black people are these Black people lazy? Digressing... my family see their infrastructure crumbling with food deserts and urban blight and when they travel 15 minutes away they see a nirvana filled with whiteness that very few of them will live among. I live in that so called nirvana a few states away from my family and I can tell you it is not worth it because most people in these so called nirvanas do not want my black face there. Please do better. Promote the candidates that will give Black American tangibles. Joe Biden promised us George Floyd bill and prompt dropped it when he was elected we have not forgot. The migrants, Israelis, and Ukrainians can not vote yet they get tangibles why not my community. With all due respect. Be better. I am not a bot. 🛬

      Biden already told us
at the beginning of his term that we have to get along and work with Hispanics. Democrat or GOP Potus Black people are not gaining anything tangible. The only question regarding the GOP is probably who is going to the camps first. Will it be Blk US citizens or non-white immigrants? With the Democrats will ir be the usual neglect and symbolism thrown in here and there. The call when they need votes? By 2030 the Democrats will probably not need the Black American vote.

    • @KwestionEverything1
      @KwestionEverything1 6 місяців тому

@dbapeman0698 The solution is simple. White Americans don't want to pay for reparations. They are in denial. So be like the European countries and charge money for a visa to visitors of the US and its territories and to non citizens who live here until they obtain citizenship in this country. Tax their purchases at a premium. Add a surcharge to purchasing a home by any non citizen. That surcharge can increase for the purchase of luxury items such as business, companies and mansions. You are a foreign conpany and you want to do business in the US you have to pay a slight premium. You are not a citizens you pay a surcharge for every purchase. All of those proceeds can go towards starting of a modern-day Freedman Bureau and that Bureau can distribute the proceeds as reparations. The funding of would never stop. Meaning forever. The funds can invested in a manner similar to the Norweign sovereign fund. Those funds go ONLY to people who can prove through DNA analysis and census records that they are descendants of American chattel slavery the original killing fields. B1. 🛬

It's sad but it true. For a race to believe they are almighty and better than the rest of us. Because they see their numbers twiddling. They have decided to operate in a space. Where they believe Black people should be back on the Plantation. They can try it, if they choose. But after that bloody fight. We all going to be dead. The thought of putting filthy Trump back into office. Means we will have a dictator sitting in the White House. That can not happen folks. Wake up and train for the Civil War. .....REALITY CHECK........
Joe Biden has put in his Administration many Black people for the specific purpose of helping Blacks. Economic empowerment and justice are just two. Biden has called for Fair Housing noting the racial disparities in home ownership, goggle Kristen Clarke (Black woman), the Justice Department Assistant Attorney General and what she has done ( suing big banks for redlining, suing the Realtor Association for selling Black owned homes for less, holding police Departments accountable for injustices against Black ppl) Biden has appointed a wave of Black women judges to the Federal Appeals Court. Appointed (Black man) General Charles Q Brown, Chairman, Joint Chief of Staff, who is encouraging Blacks to join the Air Force to become pilots. Alabama Republican Senator, T Tuberville voted against his nomination saying "Democrats are attacking our military, saying we need to get rid of White Extremists and Nationalist"
Goggle Donald Craven (Black man), Undersecretary for the Minority Business Development Agency
who is helping minority businesses with Gov't contracting and access to capital. This is just a few mentioned. But this is what you really need to know, those fighting against all this
      CONSERVATIVES & REPUBLICANS
Just today CNN reported that a lawsuit was filed against the Commerce Department by 2 White businessmen claiming discrimination
same as a discrimination complaint was filed (by Conservative/Republican) against Biden's awarding grants to Black farmers AND all upheld by Trump's Republican appointed Judges. Democrats has always pushed for Social programs that benefitted Blacks, but many Blacks don't and did't take advantage of these programs. It is a known fact that Republicans have always been hostile toward any/all Social Justice & Civil Rights for Black people (where have you been, you talk about the last 100 years) Today, Conservatives & Republicans are relentlessly pushing back on any/all progress for Black people: the Black Farm Bill, Banning Black Authors, AA, DEI, wanting to gut public school funding in low income neighborhoods etc. Trump's administration was filled with extremists (Supreme Court...
      gutting Black peoples' Voting Rights)
Betsy DeVos, Education Secretary, wanting to defund public schools
      and undercutting colleges& universities.
Trump & Republicans gave billions to Corporations and the already wealthy while simultaneously telling struggling poor people he/they were doing the opposite. Identity politics and scapegoating minorities (you) is now part and parcel of the MAGA agenda.
      Get educated about politics.

Ehhh, Trump was a Democrat. And he converted his religion. Folks love to see us as feeble, ignorant as you say. It never stopped. It's all the same to us. Two sides of the same coin alternating good cop, bad cop. The policies were only in our name. Used to continue the same old, same old, in a new way without friction. Others enjoy our policies. It's come to the point where the melting pot is done. Policies are in their names.
Only you can be stabbed in the back. We could never feel comfortable enough to turn our backs. We don't have relationships with white people in our lives. The south never changed. Sharecropping still exists. As a matter of fact, the corporations joined with a south asian recruiting monopoly recreating Sharecropping in gig work and tech contracts. They started over twenty years ago and no one notices. No one demands the right to negotiate or fair pay. The south is still sitting there waiting. Immigrants keep to city and suburbs. But you see the politics are no different than small southern towns now. There never was a real civil war. You all came with room to negotiate. We saw that in my family with the African who came in 1812.
But, you also come with your politics. How has every election looked like for you? I know, and know when I see it cropping up here. We haven't had this many "Black" people in political seats since just before and after Jim Crow. So many of the current batch of judicials were seeded and groomed. Look at how they act. I hope its at least on cue. We have never chosen our leaders. They have never represented us and lasted.

Working people should ficus more attention on local and state politics than federal. We are more impacted by local laws and policies than federal. State judicial elections and appointments receive little media attention. If working people gain control of those political offices we can reduce the impact of federal government. Project 2025 can be implemented by either major political party. They both serve wealthy interests at the federal level.

Federalism. If you believe state/local governments can protect you from a federal government that chooses to fully assert its power, you have some reading to do.
To say that either party can implement Project 2025 is so disingenuous. It is a Republican plan that is the work of The Heritage Foundation, an unapologetic right wing think tank, and measures from it will be implemented if *any* Republican president is elected, not just Trump.

We have to be students of the time we are in. Supremicist will always exist. We just need to understand the world we live in and manage it better in the future. We need to create new versions of the things we need. Urban view is important. Can there be a new version beyond the currant home, a version where everyone w/o SIRUS can hear it? Even people in rural areas.
Whatever is created needs to be protected, and the people who access a new version of Urban view (or anything else) need to be protected. For example, in parts of the world citizens are being prosecuted for liking a tweet (X) The opposition is always creating new things in our society. Create and protect needs to be a new goal.

They know they've pacified Americans to the point where even me stating just those words freaks people out today. I listened to Malcom's Message to the Grassroots, and he says the same thing. No revolution has ever been won without bloodshed. Not only did it give me chills because I've always felt it, but because here is a man who felt the same way long before I was born. Even with them being ok, they choose to be good human beings by helping and encouraging others, not as fortunate, to vote for our own best interests which, at the moment this time, means for the Democratic party. All influential people should be doing the same. I don't listen to Taylor Swift, but I like what she's doing. She appears to actually care for the people who are making her rich, even though she'll be OK as well, no matter what happens. Pay attention to the people who you are supporting and making rich. If they aren't speaking up, they're using you and could care less about what may very well happen to you in this country.
