It's a great entry-level trail bike. A California bike named after Marin County. Pronounced Mahrin. The Bolinas Ridge 2 is upgraded from the 1, better components. Great bike for price.
Got my Bolinas Ridge 2 yesterday - but my seat looks tilted towards the left - need to figure that out!

I've got the 2023 version of the marin bolinas ridge 2 is it a hard tail bike it never said it was when I purchased it.

That would be a good question for someone that works in a bike shop. My experience with Trek was many years ago and I broke the frame.
Is there no kickstand on that bike?
Nope, not sure you would want one on a mountain bike.

They didn't have a Ridge 1 to compare. I was told that Ridge 2 is a step up in components.
