I love these. I currently practice a 10 cut/thrust drill, that incorporates all of those put together. Of course im not arm chair generaling it. I need to diversify, the espada y daga are my favorite, I incorporate a trench hawk trainer, as well.
I accidentally come across this channel, and I must say im impressed and now a subscriber. dude, I love the subject matter of this channel, im always looking to improve upon my self defense!!! Man THANK YOU TREMENDOUSLY
Awesome knife fighting vid. Ur emphasis on adaptable angles; footwork; balance, etc. If there's a preference: single edge because on the street it's practical to fold n conceal until it's necessary to protect oneself. Good basic instructions for possible use for street protection. Kudos. Anticipating ur Part 2 vid.
Single edge for sure. Not to say the double edge one would likely be a more efficient weapon. Many cultures use the tools they have and press them into use as a weapon. Already being well versed with the knife as a tool it isn't a big leap to use it as a weapon. That is precisely why the single edge blade makes more sense to me. Besides, a person is more likely to have a tool they can use for an assortment of jobs. Great videos by the way.
Nice technique. one more technique I think could be used here. a bit more lethal and perhaps not seen as a defensive technique. great video! (Double edge) either ok ....just a preference
Love these simple but practical knife fighting techniques

Bro, you are wicked quick with that blade 🔥🔥🔥
Another GREAT video Paul! I like the single edge, as it's most likely the kind of blade I can legally use in all 50 states.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge, this will help to save lives.

The knives looks pretty nice.
Nice
Single edge because it replicates something I carry.
Do you prefer forward or reverse grip on the knife? ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Since daggers are illegal where I live, single edge is my go to knife, but that's just me.
Haha I knew it. Didn’t even watch to the end, jab is fast!
Single edge!
i always bring a gun to a knife fight
both styles.
NOICE
Love double edge styles, though good luck carrying one. Being ATTACKED with one however shouldn't be written off, as criminals don't regard laws.
Single edge
Fastest is the jab!
But what if your opponent has a pointed stick? ;-)
Single edged
lmfao
Novice...
Were you ever in a real knife fight? This video makes you seem like you don't know what you are talking about
